We are K&J Magnetics, Inc, a supplier of the world's strongest neodymium magnets. On this channel, you'll see the many things you can do with magnets! We explore anything that has to do with magnets, as well as DIY projects and the science behind them. We also show off the power of magnets by smashing stuff :). If you have an idea for a video or want to collaborate, let us know! Hope you enjoy!

I remember doing this to my Box TV and it was permanatly damaged. I had to deal with this for a few month untill I got a new TV. This was 2013 and I was 7.
Are there any safty conserns with magnets coming off and being swallowed By young children

I did this and my Tv turned into a ps9😂🤣

Can this be done wit plumbing copper pipe?
Oh my god!
Yet the earth perfectly stays going around the sun. I guess gravity is easier to stabalize shit with than magnetism
So trump had magnets on his podium
이거 보고 신기해서 똑같이 하니까 엄마가 한대 때림 ㅋ
@KJMagnetics PLEASE PIN (for good reason) Folks, please remember to keep magnets away from electronic devices like phones and laptops. They could brick the device!
Watching this is infinitely more entertaining than the time my cousin risked damaging my tv the same way.
when I was little, I used a small emant on a television a little bigger and bigger than in this video, the result was a purple and yellow trace appeared on both sides of the screen, I tried to remove them remove but I get worse all! so I acted as if nothing had happened when they asked me the question.
I kinda did the same when i was little, though my magnets weren't strong enough.
I want to find a CRT/VHS combo to record effects on, but these used TVs prices are getting insane

Such color
If you put metal plates at the poles of the ceramic magnet to close the magnetic circuit it will be able to support a lot more weight. I managed to lift 60 lbs with one of those 2X1X1/2 inch ceramic magnets.
Same thing happens with neodymium magnets...the steel cup increases the strength!
The idea of a hand cranked backpacking/camping stove is very intriguing
Why be wary of stainless steel that’s not magnetic at all?
Dumb. Boring. Waste of time...
The eddy current induced by a changing magnetic field produces a magnetic field that opposes the flux of the initial magnetic field i think

That's Lenz's law: as the ferromagnet approaches the copper loop or cylinder, the conductive metal will repulse it, causing resistance and slowing it down, and on the way out it doesn't want it to leave and flips to attraction, and when this is quickly repeated it generates electricity and electromagnetism. The left and right hand laws.
I did this at a play place a grocery store had. there were magnet toys on the floor in front of a tv playing The Croods, and I was bored playing with them, so I was looking for places to stick them to. I tried the edge of the tv screen, and I saw cool rainbow effects on the screen, and then I put it right to the screen. After a couple minute, an employee noticed, and pulled me away and told me to play with something else. I don't know if they told my mom when she picked me up
Only geezers are allowed to watch this 😎
If the parts of the lock get magnetised… is this a good idea?
Problems with MHDs: Water (fresh or salt) has a weak magnetic dipole, and isn't easily influenced by magnets, on a small scale it looks efficient, moving something big escalates the efficiency problem. The MHD generate highly turbulent (and subsequently noisy) exhaust flows as a result Silent is not a word anyone would use and the moment you waste money to put those on a sub, pretty much everyone in the world will know exactly where you are.
Is the one stuck on to the lid a magnet or a piece of metal?
What I'm wondering is could a magnet stop a solid copped bullet. When a magnet is thrown at a copper plate it creates and em field that slows the magnet and the strength of the field increases the harder it's thrown. It makes the copper plate hot from absorbing the inertial energy. I doubt the magnet would stop a bullet shot right at it but maybe if it's shot down a rail lined with magnets it might. I thought of the idea when I saw a video about using a swing arm to launch a small projectile into space.
Next step- using air pressured motor.

A bin works too :p but hey, "everything looks like a nail" - right? jkjk
No tried doom
The flux diagram of a Halbach array special arrangement of permanent magnets that augments the magnetic field on one side of the array while cancelling the field to near zero on the other side.[1][2] This is achieved by having a spatially rotating pattern of magnetisation.
No sparks? No pyrophoric shenanigans??
reminds me of fucking around in gmod with that tv prop that shows the player's pov on the screen
Is thread good enough for line?
what would happen if you roll one of those magnetic balls along a sheet of aluminum? does it not work because the magnet might switch poles as it rolls?
What transistor did you use?
Can I use red copper wire for this? Please I need an answer
No, it needs to be bare copper. It cannot have a coating.
Nice video. One bit of irony: regardless the corrosion/rust, those magnets are still attractive. Irony is an interesting construct in our English language, but often is not recognized. One easy way to know if it's irony: put a magnet against it. If it sticks, it's irony.
Wow an afternoon well spent
I just figgured out how to harness that power of resistance. I will be dead soon.
😂😂😂💚💯✊️🪶👣🐾🦌🐟
How do you harness power of resistance? Do you pay bills for electricity?
thank you!
Why did you fill in the center, it makes it harder to see the point of impact.
Con Sonar. CRAZY IVAN!!!
So scale it up I'm dying of old age here.
That's very intreresting greetings from Poland
thank you so much , plz why does it turn in the oposite direction
The number of stator teeth (i.e. the number of screws) used in the middle part must be: N1 ± N2 (with N1, N2 the number of N/S magnet pairs on each rotor). The sum is for opposite direction, the difference is for the same direction. Here: N1 = 16 magnets / 2 = 8, N2 = 4 magnets / 2 = 2. The number of screws is 10 = 8 + 2, so opposite direction. Had you chosen 8 - 2 = 6 screws the directions of rotation would be the same.
