    Why don't you drummers do your own version of Jazz Crimes and post where we can listen. I would love to hear you guys version. I have one but my solo section need a lot of work Brian Blades is just so darn smooth on this song. This is just a suggestion.

    I'm a big fan of Tigran Hamasyan, and I can say this guy is a hell of a beast to be able to play this with such composure and precision

    I am a huge Nik Kershaw fan. Got several of his albums. This is from Nik’s album The Works. Magnificent drum track by the great Vinnie Colaiuta. Also check out Vinnie’s drumming on Nik’s song “Cowboys and Indians”….from the same album….The Works.

    Thank you for the transcription. With 16th note swing, you could remove triplets, this would be easier to read ^^

    brilliant --- 7 groupings of kick, snare, hat multiplied by 6 different ways to play two notes in a 16th note grid gives us 42 bars of building blocks for grooves

    absolute masterpiece. 7days in 5eighths -> total 12. 12hours doubled with 16th-notes is 24hours -> 24 x 7 = 168hours -> equals 16ths and 8ths metrics of the song 🤔🤫🤗
