Nice, I know exactly where this is and agree it's one of the best tree runs at The Jane on a powder day. There's a funky little bench built with snowboards to the right of where you started, next to the cliffs. Another great powder stash is on the other side of the run (the one to your left) where you started this video.

They labeled this as new terrain this season, but you were a obviously there last season…was it open then? It’s also listed as a double diamond, but appears to be in the easier side…with the exception of getting there?

Jelly roll is a single black. There’s shadow chute before it which is a double black. Getting there is about as difficult as the rest of the trek, not that bad. Was not in bounds last season i skinned my way over there. I passed shadow chute and saw they had bombed it that day testing it for slides, I was confused why until they added it to the terrain map this year.

@@terdfergeson23 I was gonna take a stab at it this weekend, but I may just hit that chute instead…that’s a long trek for a run like that unless it looks like it did when you hit it. I’ve been looking at it from Eagle Wind, and there were tracks in it, but it was closed the last day I was there. Thanks for the video and info.

Awesome footage. Which do you like better HITW or Awe? Yesterday I skied Hole in the Wall and didn't see any signs marking Better Not or Keyhole... Will someone tell how to get to them? I didn't see tracks continuing past HITW, do you have to access by going over the top from C-lift or something? Thanks.

Awe chute usually has the better snow. I’ve gotten to the chutes past HITW but only from trestle side and cutting as far left as possible with a little bit of trekking. They’re really gnarly be careful if you’re going over there I got cliff locked one time I went there and was very scared for my safety. It’s on one of my videos lol. you hike from chally and it takes about 5 minutes, not bad. there are 3 gates for HITW, better not, and keyhole.

I Don't think that was hole in the wall. Did you go through the gate that is just past Challenger lift? Looks like you were just a smidge to the skiers right of hole in the wall.

Yea I was to the right of HITW. I got there from Trestle and was in a spot I thought I had been to before but was mistaken and got cliff locked. Not fun it was scary

It’s a little bit steeper. But the whole run is fairly consistent pitch there isn’t a super steep part
