  The plastic boom cylinder can be repaired using Mek Pak plastic cement... The problem with diecast models is that they are difficult to take apart, for repair as most of the components are riveted in place, they will need to be carefully drilled out, to effect a good repair..

  Recently, Britain's released a new and improved version of this backhoe, The 3CX Sitemaster Plus. The front bucket rolls back perfectly, and the backhoe arm is able to tuck into the travel position, when carefully maniuplated, as it is very stiff.   Really crap casting , mine has so many broken crumbling parts. Real shame i have glued most of mine back together. I will never buy Corgi again. 👍

  I'm not in it to make Money off em or keep 'em in boxes. The 4020 precision was the "holy grail" collector item when I was young, but I could never afford it. I am 38 now and said screw it, bought one for $285. Tho I still think that price is a bit steep, I don't care. I spent my entire childhood wishing I had one

  That lifting problem is only a problem with your specific model, cranes etc was able to load over the side of a 785d.

  ya your so true they dont make a bucket truck or even a chip truck to go with it is sad. its sad they dont try to make a chipper in 1:32 scale.
