Damn, I really thought your ride cymbal is light weight by how flexible it is till I saw you are using meinl byzance (I am assuming this is medium?). And it reminds me so much of when I was younger and broke and had to do with whatever I could have afforded.... so I hope I have some credit when it comes to the topic of making your drums sound even better with minimal budget - you have fast leg so no need for double pedal unless you want to switch genre but you might want to reconsider the kick stick. It sounds like you are using felt; plastic or wood will sound much better in the faster parts (often you have the option to just rotate the stick; I might be wrong on this one because of audio is not super high quality). Biggest difference per money would be changing the heads for your toms (or at least tightening them up a bit, you can use tape to make them not sound for too long). And last, you really deserve a crash cymbal man...
@burlingtoncoat15 күн бұрын
@@Raging_Duck it actually is a 22” meinl byzance medium crash not a ride, i have lots of other cymbals but prefer a minimal setup, im gonna be getting new heads soon lol

@@burlingtoncoat1 Damn, when I used to play/record a lot and was setting my kit, just 20" crash would be really hard to get (usually you would have 14" and 16", I was so happy of getting 18"). I just need to know to have peaceful sleep - are you actually playing with felt bass drum pedal?
