I (AKA) have one prosthetic with a standard Triton foot and a newer one with a Triton Side Flex foot, and the Side Flex just feels so much better on the somewhat rough terrain where I live! There is less slippage on the steeper slopes because the whole foot touches the ground and walking just feels (and looks) so much more natural. My stump hurts less, my back hurts less... I'm a happy camper! 😁

What is the K rating on this foot?
I wasn’t able to find the K rating like other feet, but Ottobock’s site states…. “Designed for mobility grades 2 to 4 (moderate to very active).” Hope this helps a little.

3D scanning is a shame, if the Ottobock still using the 3D scanning means this company is a hopeless company. Anyway, this company already hopeless; when you use the 3D scanning it only can scan and capture the surface level of stump without taking into account of human body weight. (i mean when an amputee walk) The shape of stump will change when a person put his or her weight on the stump. Hello, Engineers. That's gravity exist on earth. Do you agree? There are more than 30 millions mankind in the world are still not afford the prosthetic legs. The strange thing that I felt, mankind know the technology and knowledge to trick its own mankind. This is called advanced and success!!!!

I have a Genium X3 and it is not even close to what was promised. Complete waste of money. I’d return it if I could but I can’t. And I can’t sell it because the warranty can’t be transferred. Customer support is pretty much non existent. Buyer beware.
I’m on my second X3 and my experience couldn’t be further from yours. I had a fault with my first X3 while on a work trip in Australia (I’m based in the UK). Ottobock got a replacement flown out to Australia and found me a local prosthetist to swap everything over so I could keep working. I put my X3’s through hell and they’ve never let me down. Been using Ottobock MPK’s for 20 years in August and I wouldn’t consider anything else.
Your Problem is that you have a very Bad technician fitting your posthesis. The X3 Runs perfectly in every way promised, but it is up to the Technician to ensure certain functions.
@@engineeredlimbs9005 that may be true. Then why doesn’t Ottobock make sure the local technicians are properly trained. If I were to buy a Lamborghini from the local dealer, I could be sure that their technicians were properly trained. And the city I live in, does have a Lamborghini dealer. Regardless of technician training, the device does not work for me and I would sell it if I could. However, unlike expensive cars, the warranty is not transferable so the device has no market value. And I paid for the device out of my own pocket. And I have spent hours in the gym trying to learn how to use this device. Buyer beware, Ottobock doesn’t stand behind their overpriced, underperforming product.
