I have been to literally every restaurant in Kozhikode and I feel Sagar, Mayflower, Dakshin the Veg and Punjabi De Rasoi are the best ones.

Honestly not that tasty. Only hype. I hate having to wait 30-40mins for a meal. We also won't feel relaxed while eating, as we are aware of other hungry people waiting for their turn, praying that you finish eating fast.

When I was a kid we liked porotta butter chicken from paragon. Later when we were grown ups we have appam / pathiri/ stew Now i am close to 40 living abroad. When I visit kzd, we go there in the morning to have nice appam and chicken stew. I remember coming to kzd after months away from home direct to paragon once and having appam and konju mulakittathu. Lunch meals is also very good and homely. Kzd meen curry. Nice fresh cheera upper and pink water.
