Most white-van drivers tailgate aggressively. Should I pretend I’m been towed by the car in front also? Asking for a friend…
The biggest issue I had that I didn't think about until it happened is with the passenger side blind spot. Sometimes you get to a tight angled junction where you would normally be looking through the back passenger window for traffic, but now you can't. Make sure to square up to those junction or you'll have to lean out the window and look over the roof.
What would you recommend to solve it? Having a more wide angled right mirror? Cuz i tried that, but then I lost visibility to the rear; not having a central rear view mirror really messes up with driving
Speeds in the UK are 50 in a single lane NSL, 60 on a dual carriage way NSL & 70MPH on the motorway.
After 10 years in a hatch back the things I'm most worried about are tight corners and parallel parking
Turn slowly and watch your mirrors how close you're getting to the curb etc.
@@arandomuser1000I’m more worried of not knowing what’s behind me 😭😂
Tomorrow I'm driving a work van that has no windows in the back or even cameras to see what behind you, I'm kinda afraid because I never had a car to improve my driving skills. Hope I don't do smth wrong, otherwise I'm getting fired in my first week at work 💔
How did it go
@@niv660 everything went great man, It wasn't that hard actually, but sometimes I still find it hard to do parallel parking if the space isn't big, I just avoid it in those cases lol
@@elliotalderson4467 nice! I’m looking to get into driving vans once I’ve held my licence for a year and I don’t know if I’ll be able to get a car before hand so that’s a bit reassuring lol
Driving a cargo van for the first time this week, so I came here to learn what I can before I get in an actual cargo van
