Gap Power Rental

Gap Power Rental

Since 1986, Gap Power has been quietly equipping YOU.

You want it simple. Good machines and on time delivery. That is what we do day in and day out. When you ask for a rental we don't have, we listen closely and add dozens of items every year.

But, don't forget that Gap Power is more than a great rental store. We began life as a lawn and garden store. Still have lots of that, and as much construction equipment as our store can handle. Come visit us today.

So, no matter what equipment you need, we will do whatever is necessary to serve you, every time.

do you rent the ecolawn or the EARTH-TURF?

  • @GapPowerRental

We are currently renting the Earth & Turf. We switched from Ecolawn because they were not holding up. If you like the disk style spreader instead of the bursh style, Earth and Turf is coming out with a disc spreader for their unit.

Would be great if it had electric operated emergency override instead of hand pumping 10,000 times to lower a fully extended boom. I know from experience!

First test of my Snow Joe was a massive blizzard that dropped 20+ inches of snow with drifts well over 3ft. kzread.infoUgkxoHYZbq5g9fkcAtinlTqstNlje-UQkCHN This snow thrower is definitely not designed for this much snow but it powered through it. We did have to knock down taller drifts with a shovel and at times the chute was awkward because snow banks were much higher than it could throw, but still much easier than shoveling. The plus side of the small size is the maneuverability. Easy to lift up to walkways and works in tight spaces near cars. Highly recommend.Note: after assembling it started but did not turn. The belt wasn't in place. Easy fix.

At 0:59 you explain the drive and auger controls. I used to own a Cub Cadet that if either the drive or auger handle was depressed it would hold both controls which allowed you to use either hand to adjust your chute or transmission. Do you know of any modification that can be done to the Honda blowers to accomplish the same thing? This comes in handy when your turning your blower around both left or right. Sometimes you need to lift your left hand when turning which causes me to stop, turn the chute and then press the drive handle down again.

Same thing I am wondering. Seems like it would be an inconvenience to have to stop if you want to turn right while simultaneously rotating the chute.

I wish someone would do a DIY video showing the entire setup and possible setup variations for those of us who want to rent the components needed to do our own tile cleaning using the Turbo Force attachments. From what I'm learning so far the ideal setup is a truck mounted pressure washer/vacuum setup specifically made for this type of cleaning. Unfortunately I can't find such rental here in San Diego, so I'm wondering if I can rent separate pieces of equipment. Is it possible to rent a pressure washer that can attach to the Turbo Force, and a separate vacuum? If so, what specs do I need?

The video isn't much of a help. I need to figure out why the machine is producing screwed up threads. The die is somewhat new, but it produced chewed up threads half of the time, and won't thread unless constant pressure is kept on the die, for some unknown reason. The machine is very old.
