Do not buy from Agelocer! I requested to cancel an order I made with them because I wanted to get another of watch from them instead. They agreed to cancel the order and refund me. Except that they never refunded me, stopped responding to my email and never sent the original order!!!! They kept my money!!!

Very interesting watch. The dial reminds me a bit of a Movado. I’m with you on the strap. The rubber definitely seems like it would wear, and looks much nicer. I haven’t gotten to the point of flipping yet (I only started collecting a year ago) It’s a fun, but pricey hobby. Only being able to purchase one every 3-4 months definitely makes it rewarding when I’m able to purchase one, but as soon as I buy one, I’m already looking forward to buying the next one lol. Luckily, the misses has been ok with this. The last watch I bought (a month ago) was the Grand Seiko sbgm221 and I’m in love with it! Next watch, definitely Omega Speedmaster Professional. Then it’s break time for a while 😂 Always appreciate & enjoy your watch reviews.

Very sharp! How many Zelos watches do you have in your collection? Also, is there a way you decide which ones you buy before others? There’s like 6 watches I really want and I have no idea how to choose. I’m thinking the Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch is where I’m leaning. But everytime I see a Breitling Navitimer I can’t help but want it in the worst way lol. IWC also on the list and I’ve really fallen in love with the Zenith brand since I bought my El Primero. I think I have around 70 Zelos watches now......I've owned well over 100, but have in fact sold some at times to fund other purchases. I'd get the Omega first, then pick up the Navitimer. IWC will be a harder purchase but I believe in you sir. Good luck!

Wondered if you could help, I own this watch and I often get the hands not sync'd to the digital time - this is happening because of the countdown function I think, how do you reset it so that when you do the manual sync by pulling out the crown it all works perfectly? (realise you might not have this watch anymore.)

I still have the watch. If memory serves me correctly, you have to set UTC first. Then you set time zone 1 to your current time....eastern time in my case. That sets the digital time, then the analog hands move to sync with the digital time. Oh this brand is better than Movado. I always consider movado very overrated. I won't own one. Agreed......great hobby but ain't cheap. Get the Omega. Do it.

And brother, trust me, that Omega will be mine this fall! Pretty sure it will become my favorite watch immediately. I can’t stop looking at it. I absolutely LOVE the open case back. Stunning!

Folks are split on quartz vs. automatic. Quartz is more convenient and user friendly. Autos appeal more to the watch nuts like us.

Why should one who wants to know the time, buy an automatic watch when he can get more accuracy by a cheaper quartz watch? :D I have tons of quartz watches and some of them I wear often. It’s just that I prefer an automatic when I can choose from the same model. Erm. Okay, not always. I would prefer quartz over a PT5000 automatic. Too many issues with those movements.
I guess it comes down to personal preference and collectability. I would almost always choose the automatic option if given a choice.

Very sharp! How many Zelos watches do you have in your collection? Also, is there a way you decide which ones you buy before others? There’s like 6 watches I really want and I have no idea how to choose. I’m thinking the Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch is where I’m leaning. But everytime I see a Breitling Navitimer I can’t help but want it in the worst way lol. IWC also on the list and I’ve really fallen in love with the Zenith brand since I bought my El Primero. I just live vicariously through you.
I think I have around 70 Zelos watches now......I've owned well over 100, but have in fact sold some at times to fund other purchases. I'd get the Omega first, then pick up the Navitimer. IWC will be a harder purchase but I believe in you sir. Good luck!

And I saw a blue compressor style watch for hundred bucks. Very good looking watch with a cheap Miyota 8215 movement, which is okay. I had to press the buy button.

What’s your thoughts on great white v2 frost ver green?
While I have not owned a GW Frost or GW green, I have owned other Frost Zelos watches and currently own a Malachite green Mako. I like both dial types and honestly would have a hard time choosing between the two. Given my love for all things Zelos, I'd probably buy both!

Wondered if you could help, I own this watch and I often get the hands not sync'd to the digital time - this is happening because of the countdown function I think, how do you reset it so that when you do the manual sync by pulling out the crown it all works perfectly? (realise you might not have this watch anymore.)
I still have the watch. If memory serves me correctly, you have to set UTC first. Then you set time zone 1 to your current time....eastern time in my case. That sets the digital time, then the analog hands move to sync with the digital time. Thank you. I was introduced to aventurine in many of the glass art pieces my parents own and collect. But Zelos was the first I saw in watches. Something about those dials is so beautiful.
