I have tried all 12 but not in all the countries. (I had Paella in Spain, but never been to Japan). Sushi in Hawaii was pretty amazing. Love Pho, Pad Thai, Pizza, etc. Not into Brats, but I don't do pork.

In Barcelona the paella I had was mediocre, and generally you need to have 2-3 people to share an order. Some of the best paella I've had was from street markets in France where you can purchase by weight.

I have eaten 10 of these 12 and I am extremeley let down than not a single Indian dish made it to this list....Dosas, Idlis, Samosas, Chhole Bhature, Biryani....and so many more...I mean medievel europeans fought wars to trade spices with India that led to age of discovery and age of enlightenment.......a food list where there is not a single mention of an Indian dish is simply not credible !!

I was surprised to find I'm 9/10 on these, missing only tacos in Mexico. That said, there's one long street near where I live where I could find all 10 prepared by immigrants from these countries. Of course, every one of these countries could also be represented by a different food.

They aÑe all really good! The one that really appeals to me is Tangier Island. I am relatively close to it because I live in Southern Maryland. I will tell you something that you missed. Smith Island. It is part of Maryland. Like Tangier Island, you have to take a ferry from Southern Maryland at Point Lookout. I went there several years ago. I would like to do it again sometime. Maybe I could do both back to back! Thank you for giving me this idea!

What a poorly made video. Much of the stock footage used shows locations and items that are NOT Bonaire (example: Bonaire has yellow-shouldered parrots, not scarlet macaws; Bonaire’s caves look nothing like what was shown in this video; there are only three tiny sandy beaches in Washington Slagbaai Park - Boka Slagbaai, Boka Kokolishi, and Playa Chikitu - and they look nothing like the endless beaches shown here). Also, Starlight Observatory is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Look it up. There IS an observatory on Bonaire, the Cloudy Nights Observatory, but this is basically a viewing area set up in a resident’s backyard. There IS hiking in Washington Slagbaai, but it’s not along the shore. The trails go into the island’s interior and up Mt. Brandaris, which is a fantastic and rigorous hike/rock climb. 0:33 As for the flamingos, Bonaire’s are protected by the RAMSAR accord. You cannot approach them and drones are prohibited. Flamingos are very shy and quickly move or fly away from approaching humans. Binoculars are recommended for viewing. The footage shown here is hopefully just stock of other flamingo areas versus illegally obtained. Regarding windsurfing and kiteboarding, there is NO kiteboarding at Lac Bay. Lac Bay is only for windsurfing. It is indeed one of the top windsurfing areas in the world, and there are beach bars and restaurants here… but there is no kitesurfing. Kitesurfing - and the Bonaire Kitesurfing School - can be found at Atlantis Beach. This is Bonaire’s only kitesurfing area, and it is fabulous. But there are no beach bars and there is no windsurfing. Of importance for first-time visitors that this video doesn’t even mention is that Bonaire has very few sand beaches. Most are coral beaches. The sand beaches are the three tiny ones in the park, Pink Beach, Atlantis (the kitesurfing beach), and the Te Amo/Bachelors/Donkey Beach strip across from the airport, plus private beach strips. To go to the beach, you take a water taxi to Klein Bonaire, a small island opposite Kralendijk. The island is protected by- part of Bonaire’s park system - and has no facilities other than sun shelters on No Name Beach. A round trip ticket currently costs $25 and water taxis leave from Kralendijk. Finally, review your footage prior to posting to make sure your AI narrator does not pronounce the word “sip” S-I-P. Note: I was the assistant editor for TradeWinds magazine, which focused on Bonaire, Aruba, Curaçao, Saba, and Statia (the islands formerly known as the Netherlands Antilles). I still travel to Bonaire at least 2X per year. This video does not accurately represent Bonaire.
