I remember the smile on the face of Eddie Harris after Benny Bailey did his solo. That will never be duplicated even by this great group of fellows. The coolest part about that video was Ella Fitzgerald walking in during the middle of the song. Not tolerated by anybody else except Ella.

He was really like a jazz encyclopedia. He could put together the most tasteful and polished solos instantaneously!

So happy this is not a slavish copy. Putting the trumpet first, and the trombone solo, shows respect for the musicians, not just the notes. Strong bass.
