Does the bed mounted vertical spare have a serious locking point or mechanism to keep it from being quickly stolen?

AEV is an independent builder. Its not a trim level from Ram. You take your truck to AEV or the dealer takes it to AEV.

To much money. I like AEV but the say they won't let dealers discount the trucks. Why pay MSRP on both the truck and the upgrades. Better to buy truck at discount then add AEV equipment.

What’s the snorkel for? What a waste of money and looks. If ya go in that deep ya just ruined the $150,000 dollar over priced truck you’re attempting to sell. The carpets and nice leather would be soaked, plus most of the mechanical and electrical stuff. Like Brandon would say, COME ON MAN!

These snorkels aren't for running through water, they are to place the air intake higher so less dust gets inside of it. C'mon man educate yourself more.

Just tell me how much is the payload? Sure not comming even 1200 lbs. What is the point for this car if, for long trip you cant even carry over 1500lbs

This is a 2500 so the payload is 3000lbs

Payload on a stock limited should be around 1700lbs. Its not 3000lbs nowhere near it. A Ram 2500 Mega Cab Limited loaded up with no AEV setup is 1700lbs. This is why I went to the 3500 starting in 2019 model year the 2500 can't tow anything with the coil springs and once you factor in weight of the AEV stuff and passengers your payload and towing capacity is taken down dramatically. Example: My 2024 Ram 3500 Mega Longhorn payload is about 3800lbs and a towing capacity of 23,000LBs

Its got like a 5” lift puck under the springs & he said its a 2” lift on rear 😂 They should also remove the spare tire from under the bed and include some sort of extra tank there, fuel or water or a compressor idk For 100k+ it should have lockers , Some frame mounted rock sliders & some more skid plates

I really appreciate it… But I was wondering if it folded flat the other way, so that it was kind of a desk if I was sitting in the backseat I could put my laptop on for work. I work out of my car often and I'm wondering if the back of the passenger seat would almost be like a table top for me when I'm sitting in the back seat. I hope that makes sense! I will call you on Monday :-)

The AEV will get about 13-14 MPG on the highway. If you spend 150K on a truck you are a fool unless it has an 18 speed trans. This is the dumbest idea just to try to 1 up ford. Will likely be a one year thing. Just a dumb idea and I am a cummins guy. On my 4th one now and this isn’t worth twice as much as mine.
