This song was played at my Dad’s and brother’s funeral 😭When an audience of country music superstars jumps up with a standing ovation long before the song is finished, you know you have witnessed something really special. Carrie said in an interview that the Holy Spirit took over during the guitar solo and she did not even remember finishing the song. This is one of the best renditions out there. Carrie brought everyone to church. At the end of the song there was no music playing, just her. Amazing ♥️🕊️

When a Woman of God sings out to Jesus it’s not just her way of Honoring Worshipping/adoring Him yes that’s part of it you guys are right. And it’s also her way of talking to God. And there’s absolutely nothing better than that well done Mrs. Carrie Underwood. And thank you Jesus for everything :)

I had heard an interview on this, Carrie said she could feel the Lords love all around her during "how great thou art" especially, one of the reasons she clutched her hands around her heart during his guitar solo. She said it was like an engulfing feeling of pure love all around them.

the translation is a bit liberal in the description. "desideratus" means "was being wished for" so it should translate to "fate was being wished for, war was being wished for" as "desideratus" is the perfect passive participle of desiderare "to wish (for)" secondly: "facio" in proelium facio just means "do" so its "i do battle" or "i fight" there is no imperative of facere, which should have been "face" or "facite" thirdly: "decerte" just means fighting. there is no "to the end" as well as "adversa" which just means "hostile" or as a noun "enemy" (or it could be the imperative for "Think", but thats unlikely) but in the end there was a reason that latin as a language didnt survive and that a literal translation into english is not the best idea.

This is what plays when he receives his hero's welcomed return for killing a demon lord that sought to wipe out their nation yes. But the music stops when he's about to enter the throne room and it shift to a more ominus sound track when it's clear he's their to kill his father.
