    You can always tell the Johnny popper tractor by the sound!😊

    That’s a straight, later model TR-14 or TR-14A. The serial tag is sadly missing though.

    I born in 1941, first tractor I remember was a 39 G. It was an unstyled version, steering gear exposed. By the timee I was 5, I spent many days on that tractor, plowing, haying, etc. We also had a model D that mostly ran the thrashing machine, don't know what year it was, probably 42 or 43. Still have the first tractor I bought new, a 1953 model 70. Also has a 730 and a 4020,all bought new. Can't beat these old machines of iron. Enjoyed your video. Thank you.

    That plow should get a complete overhaul, and check all of the hydraulic lines to see that they're all working properly, and aren't leaking hydraulic oil or losing pressure anywhere. It looks like a good plow, a bit of TLC will fix it right up good as new!

    I operated Wagner container machines with the CN railway back in the 80's and they were new with Cummins engines. Moving Overseas containers. They had six cylinder Cummins. They could do the work but were too big and long Made in the USA. I would have loved to see your Wagner pulling that flat bottom.

    we run john deere tractors on our farm. i once asked my uncle if we should get a lightening start tractor. his curt new england reply was if you're too weak to crank, you're too weak to farm. our '39 b is still with us and getting ready for another hay season, her 84th. hearing her run ls like the voice of an old friend.

    If you already have the tractor, you could probably do it for less than $5K. We have less than that in parts and paint on this one. It all depends how good of shape yours is in. Some of the parts can get spendy. We got lucky. Had a good tractor to start with!

  • @paulguodace2993
    @paulguodace2993Ай бұрын

    @rudycarlson8245 I'm not sure. I suppose it could screw up the weight distribution and as much as it spins, not sure it would be worth trying.

    Always let the big engine spin over until it builds oil pressure before releasing the decompression lever and advance the throttle..
