Could anyone tell if that was Jimmy's pizza on the right at 9:00? If it was, holy shit.

We use to drive that route going to Spanaway Speedway. It's changed very little since 1990 but missing Walmart and Fred Meyers.

what is this camera system, and is the same system used from the early 1980s into the early 1990s? was it something that was bought, or was it created on-site from a video camera and portable VCR? i know much later Sony made video 8 and miniDV systems for police cars, but finding info on early vehicle video recording systems is impossible through the SEO spam. anybody know anything that can help me track down and/or replicate an early system? i have a lot of spare video equipment parts...

I love this! From I-5 to Terry's Corner (if that's what they called it). Thanks for sharing. What a difference 35 years makes. No MacDonalds, No Haggen's, no development between the DQ and BofA. Wow.

Must have been nice to drive along and not have to deal with any douche bag Fast & Furious LARPers flying by, weaving in and out of traffic. And what's this I see, are people using blinkers?

I had a daily commute that required taking 90 west to 5 south via S. Dearborn and Rainier. I liked the aroma of the Rainier brewery, but it got to be so jammed up I would go over Beacon Hill instead.

1:50 My dad used to buy auto parts at National Auto Parts, and eat at the Taco Time nest door. And my sister worked at that Taco Time as well. And I always thought the tavern withe clock over the front door looked cool.

Wow, barely missed the 40th anniversary of this film! We live in Port Townsend now and were visiting pretty regularly at that time but I'm surprised at how much has changed. I was hoping the old ferry dock was still in operation so as to see more of the downtown, but alas it was not to be.

The Pizza Hut seen between 9:55-10:04 is now a Taco Bell. Also the area across from James Village is now where Lynnwood Crossroads is which has a MOD Pizza, Jersey Mikes, Qdoba, Five Guys, Joint Chiropractic, Great Clips & an LA Fitness in it.

I lived near the area where the beginning of this video takes place back in the early 80’s. I remember when they were working on the project and us kids would ride our bikes in the dirt when we could get away with it. Great memories from that time.

I know this isn't exactly a big historical event being covered, but I'm glad someone took time to record something very insignificant and everyday to show what has changed at that location and what hasn't.
