    Feminism has more to do with the decline of chivalry than simping. According to it, there's no difference between man and woman, so why would one treat the other chivalrously? Simps are just men who are a victim of hypergamy. In fact, they are the ones who believe most in chivalry. They aren't the ones who killed it.

    In a lot of ways, relationships nowadays have become so needlessly complicated to the point where the "Couple" questions whether or not they are even dating. The whole mockery around the simp is definitely one of the reasons why dating has become so complicated.

    A simp (deriving from the word simpleton) started as an insult towards men who allowed their feelings to delude themselves into expressing obsessive behaviors towards their crushes or on their crushes' behalves. Whiteknights, for example, are a subcategory of simps because they allow their feelings for their crush to delude them into thinking if they "save" her enough from backlash (deserved or not), she'll date them. Calling someone a simp used to be a wakeup call to get them to start using their head again ("You're such a simp. You're broke and she knows you're broke yet she keeps coming to you for money. Has she paid you back yet? Does she call you for anything other than money?") and recognize when their either being played or just won't get those feelings reciprocated from their crush. Because of it being so widespread and how easy it is to manipulate people, it's both understandable yet upsetting that it got misconstrued to this degree. What used to be a tough love way to tell your friend to be more realistic with their feelings became another way to shame men into withholding affection from women

    "Chivalry is dead, and women killed it" - Dave Chapelle Honestly its a woman's fault. I've seen this shit all my life: how 1 guy in university bought flowers and reservations for the date, the girl just stood him up and mocked him to me; how the guy wanted to impress the girl so he drove her to work all the time (was very inconvenient for him ) and gift her flowers, while she hanged out with me all the time and even used him as a cab to drive away from my place. Meanwhile the more i don't care about being cordial with a women, the more success i have. With current age of media, battle of the sexes and women snitching on themselves, its only gonna get worse. I guess the only difference is what men are concerned with suicide rates going up and loss of purpose, while women complain about lack of romance in their lives.

    I'd say "simping" within the bounds of a committed relationship should not only be encouraged but be considered the norm, whether talking about a man or a woman. We simply should show and do acts of kindness and love towards our romantic partner, that's about that. But in dating culture it's a bit different. What is considered simping today used to be traditional treatment, but we are no longer traditional. Women are upset men are no longer traditional, but women themselves are not traditional either. This is just what the modern age is. Equality is here, and young boys are taught at a very young age that men and women are to be treated equal in any and all aspects of life. Later on we are then surprised those boys don't give special treatment to women in dating and instead view them as equals. The dynamic has changed, whether it is for better or worse is another discussion in and of itself but that's just the reality of it, lack of simping and equal treatment in dating is the new norm.

    I think simping was coined for men in parasocoal relationships with celebs or influencers who showed extreme dedication as if they were in a real-life romantic relationship with the peeson....even though it is coear to others that the admired person is dimply selling the attention or peesona to get benefits. Generalising it to men with any type of romantic interest is painfully overreaching.

    They aren’t mutually exclusive. You can engage in overconsumption and conspicuous consumption simultaneously. But it is over consumption, I had this issue, you can’t use 1/2 of the products before they expire or go out of fashion or you just want something new. As for the economics of it all, it is wasteful and detrimental to many economies outside of the like big 20 countries. Not only that, it targets middle class/working class individuals, especially younger ones, flooding the market with low quality-cute packaging-high price products that there is very limited need for

    There's something to be said for rich people buying expensive stuff they don't need in excess. However, I don't think that necessarily means you can't critique lower-earning people for doing the same thing. Nice video though I like your hair <3

    You are not pocket watching if they are displaying these wares with the exclusive intention of being seen or inspiring envy/a desire to own the items. You are falling for good marketing which was designed to make you covet an item, and when you do want the item you blame yourself for desiring it, falling for the psychological tactic of the marketing: self blame and ‘self driven’ consumer behavior….which is actually highly researched and devised with the singular and explicit purpose of making you want that thing. Can’t turn around and blame yourself that the marketing designed to market to you successfully, marketed to you successfully

    Kescy...I applaud your courage in talking about this social issue. That said I would prefer that you refrain from using pictures or articles about women who have survived, suffered, or succumbed to sexual & physical violence from their male intimate partners. When there is mental, physical, or sexual harm the blame, shame, & ultimate accountability should lie with the perpetrator not the victim. Those women didn't deserve to be abused & their perpetrators are vile & despicable people who should face the full strength of the law.

    I feel that this topic is pertinent in the society right now because of the links with unemployment, absent role models, crisis in the funding of public universities, higher rates of suicide among Gen Z's and need of adequate support systems for the youth.

The kind of trauma these ladies come with in a relationship after this sponyo life is on another level. They cant keep a good godly relationship going. Its very sad.

    Many Kenyans have much interest on Agikuyu community, I don't know why, I had a lover from Ukambani and let me tell you that alcoholism, single motherhood you talk about is also a very big problem there, I've lived closely with people from western Kenya, coast and I learnt that they have more challenges that we have in central, growing up in those polygamous families where bitterness, hatred and witchcraft is the order of the day but all eyes are always on Mt Kenya, what do expect from the largest community????our numbers are large everywhere, mention also the owners of those big businesses and companies

    Hi, so about the math being from high school education, what about if you didn't do the 844 system and haven't done math for 2 years 💀💀. Is it that hard?

  • @Kescy.
    @Kescy.11 ай бұрын

    Mathematics is generally similar and doesn’t generally change across different education systems; formulas stay the same for example 1 + 1 = 2 whatever education system you learnt the formulas stay the same in addition, subtraction, multiplication, geometry, statistics, currency etc. If you haven't done math in 2yrs that means you've become abit rusty. Yes, it may be challenging for you since you haven't practiced in a while.
