    Did you buy it from Amazon? This model has a recall on it. I was able to get Amazon to refund me (well only as gift card balance) and then I filled out a forum on Kuat’s site for a temporary safety kit for the rack.

    Just upgraded to 40s on my JLUR. This means I had to either spend $700 to $900 on very low profile rear bumper or a tire carrier to fit a spare 40. I opted for an Artec spare tire delete plate.

    OK you didn't like the plastic, I 'm sure there are a few reason why they use plastic, you don't like it but why would you add a plastic snorkel, don't they make them out of steel

    I was fully locked trying to go up a ledge and my spotter wanted me to make micro adjustments. JLUR on 38s couldn't turn for shit had to reverse to make adjustments. I bought an Apex power steering boost kit and I tested it out fully locked flexing in a rock and it turns 38s like nothing. I hope it works as well on that ledge when I try again. One of my buddies has an XJ on 37s full hydro and he said driving on the HW is scary as hell.

    Have you ever used 4.88 Axle Gears on your 40" tires? I was just thinking that it would possibly give you better mpgs to counter act running heavy wheels and tires.

    Good video. I have broken a lot of steering parts. I like hydro assist because it will still (slowly) steer you back to your trailer if you break a sector shaft, drag link mount , or tear your box off from the frame. I don’t run PSC. On our Jk we run Howe steering power assist system. After your build you send him your lock to lock marked on your box, and he installs internal stops in your steering gear box. I run this on a modified stock box without issue. The assist ram takes some of the pressure off the box. I still run a sector shaft brace. Good luck

    I am 52 in May 2024, and I bought a secondhand 2009 Jeep Jk Wrangler Sport 2 Door Hardtop in Sunburst Orange in Australi and I am at least the 3rd owner and still has low mileage. Sadly she does not have any of the cool Easter Egg pictures. I had a touchscreen for iPhone CarPlay and iTunes and phone calls and gps maps etc with reversing camera installed also. First ever Jeep and she runs like a dream and she is my daily drive and starts instantly every time and even in the winter. I will ALWAYS be a Jeep owner °|||||||° ❤❤

    I disagree. My tons were around 14k. 14b/05sd. 5.38s, arb f/r, reid knuckles, rpm 2.5 alumium steering. Motobilt trusses. J8 brake kit. New 40s. New beadlocks. Plus more. Ready to go. Would have been 25 if i went similar fusions.

  • @SoFloJeeping
    @SoFloJeeping7 ай бұрын

    Yeah your tons were definitely fancier than what I did. Mine would be more comparable to their standard 18k build. But if I went fusion I'd probably just spend the extra coin for the 10" fab axles because at that point what's an extra 4k 🤣

    Not letting a face value price tag scare me from wanting something. I definitely can't afford a husky like that. Sold a mountain bike i bought for 2000 for 3000. Spend 3200 on a 16'crf250x. Sold it for 4k. Bought a 16' ktm 350 for 4k. Traded it for a 20' yz250f. Traded that for a 19 ktm 450 and blown up 15 ktm 250. Fixed the 250 and Sold both of those for 10k. Bought the husqvarna for 6300. So over the course of a year practically ended up with the bike for free
