  I listened to Melanie as a child suffering decades of horrific abuse. I would have to sneak and listen alone and cry. Sorry I copied some albums to cassettes and made my own covers. I had no money. I hope the statute of limitations is up on that crime. I thank God for the 70’s Koss headphones. I finally had to throw them away after 50 years, they were degrading and returning to their original elements. Melanie helped me carry my burden through years of misery and never knew. I felt she knew my pain and was with me in some sense. I got to see her in the 90’s in Duluth Minnesota. She graciously signed a stack of cd’s. So she is with me still. Someday she’ll come back before I’m gone. There’s still a little bit left of me! My night doesn’t end with the day, but that’s ok! Peace and love to anyone that reads this! ❤

  No existe vulgaridad en ningún momento, solo es falta de comprensión. En 'Triana puente y aparte', Poveda recoge, como haría un arqueólogo con los edificios de la Antigüedad, las raíces del flamenco en el barrio de Triana en Sevilla., donde se asientan, desde antes del descubrimiento de América, los gitanos de Sevilla, que ejercen oficios artesanos y manuales a los que aluden en sus cantos (el afilaoooor, el amolaoooor....) El que quiera saber más, disfrutará con algunos documentales que existen aquí, en KZread (Triana, una historia, 1998; Triana pura y pura, 2013 ; etc...) Solamente hay que entender que los bailes flamencos tenían su trasfondo erótico, pues era el medio con que se comunicaban en sus fiestas y, en consecuencia, una invitación a la conquista. Pero de una forma natural y directa, alusiva pero sin bajeza. Mientras Poveda redescubre los tangos de Triana, La Lupi recrea como solamente lo puede hacer una maestra y una muy refinada Artista (aquí es con mayúsculas) del baile. Y nos regala una obra maestra de un plástica flamenca pero también universal). La Lupi aqui no descubre, sino que teje y traba un nuevo y finísimo tejido estético. Y el público -que si no lo comprende del todo, lo intuye- lo agradece constantemente. Entonces y ahora.

  Desconocimiento total el o la que diga que bailar así es bulgar y ordinario, como decir que Rosalía es flamenco, intenta hacer una fusión con referencias al flamenco, pero no es el flamenco puro, y muchos no están acostumbrados, por eso los alemanes exclamando gritan y se ríen ni puta idea pero les gusta.
