What bothers me the most is these paintings they glorify an era that did not turn out well for the American Indian. Looking at these paintings one wonders how the hell did there’s people lose the battle. These paintings do more harm than good. They are a lie. These were created to sell art and fabricate a myth that never existed. Ask any Native American. They tell a different story. This is how the white choose to believe the history. Not the true facts.

There we'll detailed but there boring paintings no action like Andy Thomas paintings are better and more exiting to look at.

Most fine art painting in history does not show scenes of action. If that's your criteria for good art, you will be disappointed by much of the Western tradition. While Terpning does sometimes portray lively events, his work is more reflective and introspective than someone like Thomas. I also think his compositions and value design are better. Art does not only need to show us "exciting" scenes. It can make us think or even just reflect on beauty, itself. That's hardly boring.

That's it just award's dont they sell them they want money not award's. They should have Andy Thomas western paintings his are better and more action and excitement in his paintings.

I love these paintings.I love the American natives.. I wished they were still in majority . I watched the western movies as a teenager and was horrified by the stories about the massacres of the natives . I visited Florida and I was so Moved to see a few American natives even a few dancers at the Grand Canyons. If I could, I would save all of them and bring them to Australia. These paintings are amazing and the collection ought to be preserved for the many generation to come and also with a story to tell. Thank you for presenting this collection. PRICELESS IN EVERY WAY. Jose from Melbourne Australia.
