Sea foam, ocean foam, beach foam, or spume is a type of foam created by the agitation of seawater, particularly when it contains higher concentrations of dissolved organic matter (including proteins, lignins, and lipids) derived from sources such as the offshore breakdown of algal blooms.[1] These compounds can act as surfactants or foaming agents. As the seawater is churned by breaking waves in the surf zone adjacent to the shore, the surfactants under these turbulent conditions trap air, forming persistent bubbles that stick to each other through surface tension. Sea foam is a global phenomenon,[1] and it varies depending on location and the potential influence of the surrounding marine, freshwater, and/or terrestrial environments.[2] Due to its low density and persistence, foam can be blown by strong on-shore winds from the beach face inland. Human activities, such as production, transport or spillage of petroleum products or detergents, can also contribute to the formation of sea foam.

Lol saw this on moistcritcal's channel and decided to come here to get the full story from the description. It just got waaaay funnier knowing it was landlord (landlady?) who called the plumber and - between the two morons - they decided to do this without paying 300 bucks p/hour to shut the water off... What really allows me to rewatch this and laugh even harder is the bitch trying to pin this on the tenants. At first glance I just thought we had some people who called in a plumber and were way too broke to pay the plumbers fee PLUS the fee to cut the water. (Which is fucking unheard of btw...) and then disaster ensued that just led to a shitty day for everyone involved. i'm sure the day was still shitty, but thankfully it ended well and the landlady and the plumber were the ones that paid the bill of their own making.

Since no one read the description I cropped the text that’s basically a update: For all the morons who complain that I should have put down the camera and helped this water-logged jackass- I chose not to help for liabilities sake, and instead documented the incident. The landlord tried to pull a fast one and blame the tenants, but the video proved the tenants innocence, and the lying bitch of a landlord was held accountable for the entire situation. Who can deny how funny this video ended up being. Without this video, the tenants would have been screwed over, and you wouldn't be laughing your ass off at this hilarious situation. Quit watching if you think otherwise. Last, I am not a tenant here, but I am friends with these folks. They are good people. After the flood, they relocated to a much newer apartment complex that is owned and run by a trustworthy landlord. Their new apartment is maintained regularly and is up to code. Always document incidents like this, it saved these people and can very well save you from a lawsuit - the same reason many people buy dash cams.

Nice work! By the way where did you get a new back glass? I thought they were discontinued.
@cobblewagen2 жыл бұрын
Thank you... so they're discontinued now? Mine came direct from a local Toyota dealer back in September 2018. At the time, they said it was the last one in the USA, deep within a random warehouse out of state. Could've been the last one overall, if they had no more left in Japan. Come to think of it, many of the parts available around that time are now discontinued - fuel tank skids/protectors, 6-speed shift tunnel panels, both quarter windows, windshield wiper arms... makes me think that these types of new-OEM parts style restorations are going to be impossible in the near future.
@bkr7e8112 жыл бұрын
@@cobblewagen Ahh that makes sense. They still actually have them in Japan but it's really expensive to bring over as you can imagine. And yeah, a lot of things have been discontinued. That's why I have been slowly buying trim, glass etc that I might need later on when I repaint my car. I do regret not getting a back glass earlier on when they still sold them in North America. My hatch also has the rust coming through and I'm tempted to get a carbon hatch but I'm just afraid of breaking my current back glass when removing it. Restorations will be damn hard in the future for sure that's why I keep whatever old parts I remove from the car in case I want to restore them later on to use/sell.
