Naturally Graysful

Naturally Graysful

How to embrace your gray hair and deal with life’s struggles through words of affirmation. Embracing my gray hair, having chronic illness, and being a mom have taught me the value of practicing self-compassion when things change and struggle happens.

I call subscribers Beautiful🦋s because butterflies perfectly represent the transformation journey. It's not pretty and it has it's struggles in the beginning, but in the end, something beautiful emerges from change.🦋

For me triggers are 1. Lack of sleep 2. Stress from pain 3. Stress mentally 4. Bright flashing/sparkling lights. I have PCOS so I have an IUD. My cycles stopped to that doesn't trigger any for me. I never loose consciousness. It doesn't affect my lower half as much as the top.

My best friend came home from the hospital with a diagnosis today. They have been struggling with this since they were a small child and they are 34 years old. It feels amazing to finally know what is happening to them

I get all the same feelings. I know when it's coming. I have to sit down but yet when I wake up. I'm probably on the floor or my son's putting me to my side telling me dad. It's all right, but yes, this very scary. Feeling I go to a neurologist. And they still can't figure out what the problem is stress. Don't do it for me and sugar. Definitely don't do it for me. I'm in a weird case. I've had a lot of accidents as a kid in car accidents and they still can't figure out why it's happening to me. I do take medication I take? I forgot what it's called.Actually Capra capra and other medicines. And I still have one like once a month sucks

That is a clothes steamer! Why not invest in a hair steamer with the hood; they are designed for your hair. Trust me, it is worth the investment

I had my pnes onset during my ba in college in ‘17. Some of My triggers are my toxic family being toxic, yelling, even people being rude to me, when other people are driving dangerous or aggressive while I’m driving, talking to people in public or on the phone, talking to anyone in a hospital, clinical setting. It was really scary getting diagnosed, there weren’t any youtube vids about it then. It’s nice to know we’re not alone, not that I’d ever wish this on someone. But it’s nice. Thank you for making and sharing. Love to everyone here.

So glad you are back! I have 2 types of kinky hair. Tight kinks in back, less in front. Does not grow hardly at all. Lots of yellowing. Bantu helps a lot. Receding hair line. But I’m 88 so I’m not complaining. Don’t like curls at all. Love your video.

Some people are conditioned to believe women are supposed to look a certain way. I can set boundaries with people who give an unsolicited opinion. I never make a negative comment about any women's hair color even if asked. My hair, my choice, my life

I get my seizures while I’m asleep - I have that electric shock in my brains and part of my body twitches . The neurologist couldn’t come up with a name and put me on CR500 and Epitec 50g which help with migraines as well. Alcohol made everything worse.I’m now on a strict paleo diet , little dairy, little fruit ,no caffeine, no processed foods, I only drink herbal teas and water. I took a 6 months sabbatical from work and the seizures stopped, I even went off the meds. I’m back at work and it has started with migraines and the seizures are back. So I also think stress has a lot to do with it and I also want to go back to therapy. I also take Ashwa- Gandha to keep me calm and normal vitamins. Lastly my last bloods indicate that the thyroid is a bit off , so you’re right about hormonal issues. So a healthy life style of the things you can control is important but I love it when you say ,be flexible to life’s unpredictable circumstances. So we need to also be open to other means for such unexpected changes in our lives like an open ended tool kit for these seizures. Blessings to everyone, you’re not alone 💐❤
