There’s a county police department around New Braunfels, Texas (probably a very remote part of Texas that’s way off of I-35 and I-10) that still had their Crown Vic’s working. Saw one with county insignia and an officer inside. Can’t remember the county since it was 3am and I was doing UberEats deliveries, but looks like these things are still alive

I never thought I'd own one of these. But 3 years ago I inherited my dad's 05 lx. Sure I had to replace the headlight box, brakelight switch, and the air suspension compressor died but they're easy repairs and parts are plentiful. She's comfortable, the handling is predictable and she's fun to drive. I'll never part with her

Had many long shifts, close calls, wild pursuits, and untold hours of boredom in Crown Vics. Missed throttling around corners and breaking it loose. The Explorers were a horrible replacement, with one exception: you just slid into them, verses dropping down into a Crown Vic seat. A lot easier on the back. Thanks for the memories and keeping me safe ole girl. Enjoy your second life as a taxi lol.

Its 2024 electric vehicles are proving to be a losing proposition for the amount of earth elements and factory emissions it takes just to create a moving lithium bomb that wont charge in the winter. BRING BACK THE CROWN VICTORIA IN 2025!! CAN WE GET A HELL YEAH IF NOT AT LEAST A THUMBS UP!! Lets get Ford to take notice. We want quality vehicles that stand the test of time.

I live near the site of the St. Thomas Ford Assembly plant where the Crown Vic in this video, and all the other Crown Vics were built. Ford company has bulldozed the entire site; there is nothing left but a fence. Gone forever. Sad. My son in law is a police officer with 20 years in the police service. Here we are in year 2024, and still he and his brother officers swear the Crown Vic was by far the best police car they ever operated. Solid, fast, comfortable, and safe (had a 'frame'). Most cars are uncomfortable for police officers because of the duty belt they wear (gun, cuffs, taser, ammo, etc.), but not the Crown Vic as its seats were extra roomy and accommodated the duty belt very well. The Crown Vic was tough as hell; it could handle the around the clock hard usage police put them through. The spacious dash mounted the communications gear very well while most other cars are cramped and require awkward compromises when that gear is installed. The trunk was roomy and could hold all the stuff they carry with them with room to spare.The ride was excellent and when you spend 12 hour shifts in a car that's pretty darned important. They miss it a lot. I do too.
