    Its such a great location, humid, but great, was there at the start of winter and it felt like it was early spring conditions, the tours are also fantastic, we did the Relics of WW2 Tour and it was fantastic hearing about all the history of the islands and the things they encountered during those years, truly was a secret base at the time.

    On the back of the packaging I thought it said the bulbs should be spaced 4-6" apart. However, you planted all four right next to each other. Do they still grow well in that case?

    Did you use two Wagner paint tools? One for wall (roller) and another for fireplace. I have many kitchen cabinet doors to repaint. Rolled 1st & 2nd coat by hand except back side. Decided I want to go over again both sides before rehanging...

    Yes, I rolled the walls but I took the fireplace outside and sprayed it. Spraying is great but not necessarily something you want to do indoors

    One in a melon...how cute! I always love your color schemes! You did an excellent job building the paver patio. The white rose chairs and pink striped umbrella go so well together, so much feminine romantic charm. Thank you for sharing your projects as inspiration! I hope you have a lovely time with your friends and family at your bistro table. Your demonstrations always get my creative wheels turning.

    It looks like you were planting these under a tree. I was under the impression that stargazer lilies need to get full sun? I am in zone nine in California and would love to be able to plant some of these in my backyard around my tree as it appears you have, but it is very shady. Do you think that they would grow? Thank you for any advice you can afford me.

    I don’t know that they would work under a normal tree… mine is missing half its branches leaving the right side of the bed to get full afternoon sun. They’ve been here for a year or two and have bloomed twice ☺️

    Thank you for the tips, I'm trying to grow Philadelphus (mock orange) in zone 11 😅, so I will try the icing method. I have my philadelphus next to champakas, grevilleas, callalilies, elephant ears, and alyogyne (all heat loving, frost intolerant plants). The philadelphus is not my smartest choice, but I already bought it and I might as well try. You have a very sweet, kind personlity that shines through, and I love those shoes!!

    Are there any outlets in the nightstand?

  • @Happilyeverafteretc
    @Happilyeverafteretc16 күн бұрын

    It depends on the ship… and the room. They’re putting new lamps in the cabins that have USB’s but not all the cabins have the new lamps. As for actual outlets no, the only actual outlets are by the vanity

    OK, finished the Vid. ❤❤❤ That was a lot of work, emptying the courtyard of those Pavers! Kudos to y'all! All looks great, my only concern is that the mulch won't hold the pavers in place, what with the rain, walking on the patio, etc. Only time will tell. All in all, you three can be proud of what you've accomplished! P.S. Your Mom's friend has a superb place! What we saw of it.

    I used finer sand in between my Pavers. However, Polymeric Sand may be your thing. My spaces between 40cm pavers is small so I just brush more fine sand over and into them periodically. Another thing, I haven't yet watched all, is either a type of edging that you'll spike into the ground to hold in the pavers or a cement edging all around. That too depends on your whole make up. 4th year of my 3x5 meter patio and constantly pulling random baby weeds out, even in Winter. Gotta keep on it! Now to go watch all of your vid...

    I just got one today I ordered it in a two gallon it’s a huge plant full of buds it is about 18in tall without the pot and very bushy. I’m between zone 8b- 9a our sun here in central Texas is brutal soooo I will start placing it in different locations to see where it will acclimate without damage. I have 30 year old live oak trees in my back yard with borders it would be perfect there but I’m worried the tree roots will interfere with the hydrangea roots…

    Hi! I just started watching your channel and I noticed we had the same house! I’ve been in mine for five years now mine is white. I’ve noticed I have to pressure wash it every year and the black trim on my windows is warping and sliding off. Have you experienced anything like that with the windows?

  • @Happilyeverafteretc
    @Happilyeverafteretc22 күн бұрын

    So glad you’re here! I have been here for 4 years now and haven’t had any problems with my trim, that’s so frustrating! I loved the traditional white look of the Lula Mae but was worried about keeping it any version of clean so I went with a gray siding instead… I haven’t had to pressure wash it once. I did have to scrub the porch as it had a lot of algee this spring but not the actual house.

    OK for those who need to know. it is a 1/2 km from the carpark 3 to the terminal. and 1/2 km from the check-in upto the ship. so you can organise a wheelchair from check-in to the ship, if the walk will be a bit long for you.

    So i purchase the first line of pandora shine plated gold. I never wore it. Stored it as directed by pandora! In months it was ruined. It’s all black and there is nothing I can do to fix it. I called pandora for warranty help and they refused. A $500 bracelet, trash!! I’m so frustrated! I see others not even take care of their plated jewelry and it’s fine. Idk what to do! I’d rather just find a way to remove the plating and have it all be one color 😢 please help!

    So my question is is ur epoxy food grade cause usually u can’t eat on them after cause the chemicals cute tho

  • @Happilyeverafteretc
    @Happilyeverafteretc28 күн бұрын

    The epoxy I use is food safe! According to the manufacturer it is 100% food safe when clear… adding colorants changes the formula and can’t be guaranteed to be food safe. So your options are to pour clear plates or (what I did) topcoat your pieces with a clear layer of resin which will make them food safe. Making plates you can’t eat off would be slightly pointless 🤣

    How long does it take for you to see it starting to die off?

  • @Happilyeverafteretc
    @Happilyeverafteretc28 күн бұрын

    It’s more a question of not re-growing since you cut everything back first. I usually check after a week and if there’s new growth I assume I didn’t get a good enough coating… cut the vine back again and re-coat it in the vine killer. That’s only happened once or twice… usually it dies the first time.
