Listening to Greg's story has brought strength and hope back to my heart. This is a true God story. I'm the one carrying the anger as the wife who has lost her loving husband temporarily to this unfair and corrupted judicial system. I'm trying to understand why God has allowed this to happened to our family. Why? If we were a believing God filled family. Why? If my husband was a man who loved people and has never done anything to hurt a soul. With this experience we are currently living, I've realized we truly live a modern day slavery. Free chatter slaves in these men and women in order to make money of them while having many of them work to support those who are lifers. Great interview. I was left in tears! Wow! "Greg, you're gling home today! " wow!!!! Thank you!

Thanks for listening and joining us to hear Greg’s story. It’s hard to understand some of the circumstances we find ourselves in. But sin entered the picture early in this greater story. Just glad that God chose to send his Son to rescue us for all of eternity.

My own innate desire to make life work on my terms. Not God's plan. To chase the money for significance rather than believe I'm enough just the way God created me.

This is why we need to keep our faith in God and Jesus simple and to the word of the Bible. This is why I believe the deconstruction movement is dangerous to church community as a whole.

I am in the same crisis of my faith, doubt that im a child of God. I have prayed for help but He doesn't answer my prayers, which strengthen my unbelief but God doesnt seem to care. Its been going on for six years now. Ive been giving up so many times but God shines with His absence...why doesn't He answer me. He answered Alicia Childers but not me. It must be that im not His child then! I guess i'll never know.

I am so sorry to hear how bad your heart hurts here! If you have committed your life to Jesus, you are adopted into his family. Nothing can ever change that! I am not sure what you are praying for, but I have found that praying in line with his his promises and plans is really important. There were many years where I prayed what I wanted which at times was at odds with his purposes for me or others. I prayed for years for Jesus to save my husband for almost 12 years. It was not until 2 days before he died that he found peace with God. Walking through those years was the hardest thing in my life but the healing that God worked in me changed my life. Please pray for God to show his love for you in small ways to build up your ability to feel his closeness. For 6 weeks I asked God to give me a picture of his love for me. It was a game changer.

That is why Jesus prayed to his Father and said "Thank you for the simple". Faith is not over complicating things on an intellectual level. We all have the capacity to believe and to love others as ourselves..

Romans 7:18-25 KJVS For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. [19] For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. [20] Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. [21] I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. [22] For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: [23] But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. [24] O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? [25] I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. Until God corrects a believer. Hebrews 12:6-11 KJVS For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. [7] If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? [8] But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. [9] Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? [10] For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. [11] Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

Where is the call to repentance of sin? It’s referred to as “stuff” really? What about Christ, where was the mention of Christ? How about, repent of your sin you wretched, sinful, selfish person turn to a Holy God who is capable of saving. Who although fully righteous can pardon a sinner on behalf of Christ the Savior. Born of a virgin not tainted with sin, who lived a life pleasing to the Father, a life of perpetual obedience even obedience to a bloody sacrificial death on a cross. To pay the price of sin, and the wages of sin is death, He died on our behalf when our certificate of debt was nailed to the cross for all those who would ever believe. Christ died so that sinners may live. Was buried raised from the dead and ascended to heaven and now sits on the right hand of the Father interceding for those who believe. So that those perishing May have eternal life. How about that part of the gospel Mr. Chan?
