The R16 is just heavier, the arms still wobble. I have both the R6RT and R16 and the R6RT glide is the one I use on almost all projects because its smaller/lighter and works just as well.

Get yourself Clevis pins and spring Cotter pins in the right length/diameter for fastening the top shelf. It's a lifesaver! I forgot the dimension, but you can hit me up and I'll measure mine.

Is there a way to lock in FE lock on the Canon R5/R6 longer than 15 seconds or without depressing trigger. I have utilized profoto strobes in the past and have been able to lock in an exposure with the flash itself using the TTL indefinitely..(after setting with a grey card).

You seem to be prone to crying. Man the F'k up. I'm not saying this because you're pointing out flaws in the cart. No, I expect a review to do that. I'm saying that because you sounded like you were whining while you did it. Drop that bass and say that shit with authority. Thx for the review, I'm buying the 18.

Would like to see it now, huh... My audio-technica headphones just felt apart in sense of material in 2 years, they sound good, but looks like a shit.... More on that, little bag from the same materials as headphone covers as well start chip off material parts *even with no use at all* on the shelf - just very cheap terrible material that they made from.

I've used the M40's and M50's for a long time. There is nothing on the market that matches them. I love AKG's as well and have used K271's and K240's, but the ATH series, dollar for dollar, is the best value on the market.

I have two Yongnuo YN600L II 3200k-5500k and they work very well with the Aputure cC20D II that I have. The orange gel holder that we can put on the leds with 5500k to give a warm light is very different from the leds with 3200k(more pleasant light). All the lights have their purpose. It's a question of choices. If I had to buy another led light I should buy the Yongnuo YN600L II 5500k only to give more options to my combo, but now I don't need. Yongnuo from my experience is making an excellent work like Aputure. I'm glad to have both!

This is now my BABY!! or I'll say babies since I've bought two of them now.❖>imgs.love/YN-Flash?a24 I had a canon version. Broke it by accident. Didn't want to spend the $on a new canon one. So I took the chance on this one and honestly I'll never buy another canon one. These are great and for the price you can afford to have a pair of back up flashes. The money you save on these, you should buy a good softbox and stands to go on it. I ended up buying a new softbox and Octabox since I saved so much money on these.

Thank you for this review. I almost bought three R8 until I saw the wheels on this. Knowing that I sometimes need to set up my photo-booth on grass with my canopy, I know this will be the cart for me. After watching this, I ordered it. Thanks again. Hopefully they addressed the hole issue that you mentioned since you did this video.

The cable to collapse the handle to my R14 broke and I'm told that I can't just get a replacement part to do my own repair, but I have to buy 2 complete handle assemblies which will cost in the neighborhood of $50 with shipping. Customer service said they won't sell me the repair part but to go to a local hardware store. Had I known about this poor design, I wouldn't have bought this cart.

These are very fast but cannot hold much force so ...when there is much force on these it will not work but fur sure it is a quick lock and unlock for cymbals on a drumnkit. They are cheap so ...you can do an experiment with them and if required use a normal nut just to lock it. ttps://www.vanderglas.nl/tama-quick-lock-cymbal-mate-blauw-4-stuks-077taqc8bb4

Thanks for the video! I'm a seventeen year old film scorer from Berlin. I'm currently planing my Pacific Crest Trail hike. And instead of taking hundreds of photos I'm going to try and focus on sound - because I just feel it is so underrated. We don't want to just be reminded of the places we went, but actually get to go back there. And with sounds, whenever you feel like it you can put on your headphones and disappear. I want to record sounds I encounter on trail and add musical elements/ responses on top using a basic synth/ midi controller. Unfortunately I can't bring my Mac because that's WAY too heavy. Any tips on portable working setups. I have an iPad that I would like to use. Like I said, I want to record sounds (I'm looking into different tascam models) + process and edit them on an iPad Pro app (any suggestions?) and then bring along a very lightweight midi controller or synth to layer brief musical responses (for now, i'm thinking a seaboard - any other suggestions). Could such a setup work? I want as much artistic freedom without being too heavy lol...

You can't use a Yongnuo bi- color for this test, because it will use half of the "bulbs" (5500k only) against the full power of the others LED

0:05 into the video & already see something I dont like. The handle how it is means...... you either Walk/pull "kinda Beside" the cart to spare your ankles from being destroyed , OR make tiny short steps pulling normal. Its not a natural good pull. I absolutley would either add me a confortable rope towards the bottom, centered, or extend that handle so it comes back a little away from the cart, to allow normal steps when pulling.

Cool comparison, though my understanding is simply unplugging the microphone from a mic input doesn't allow an accurate representation of the amplifier's noise level in many cases. It messes with the circuit by creating an open circuit, changing the impedance, which allows possible interference and other artifacts. Also some preamp/amp circuits I believe are designed to mute when there's an open circuit. "If you want to measure noise input on a microphone input, you should do so with "dummy" impedance. Almost universally a 150Ohm resistor is used for this. Some amplifier circuits will have increased noise output with no source connected and generally speaking the circuit is not "closed" so all kinds weird stuff can happen that would not happen with a mic connected."- Random Redditor on an interesting post I read a while back. I just mention this because at least with my H6 the noise level noticeably increases when a mic is disconnected and I believe the H5 has a similar circuit. That said the MP-1 is definitely superior, and the Juiced Link is also very cool!

I'm not sure why they only make bicolor and 5600k most indoor venues use tungsten colored light 95% of the time and wedding videographers make up a lot of film makers and a lot of other film makers work in tungsten light. I'm sure if they sold well these companies would make them so maybe I'm missing something... I think the orange plastic inserts are way too harsh wish they made them 1/2 as thin and gave you two so you could put in 1 or both. I liked your test but I wish you put both batteries in the YN600 and measured it's max output ignoring color. I would guess that would make it peak between 4k-5k which for me is a good color. Thanks for making the video.

My R12 has really bad "wobbly wheel" syndrome (like the bad shopping carts)---so bad that it's impossible to push it without the wheels wobbling crazily when there's nothing on it. Anyone know how to fix this?

  • @Jay-yy9ol
    @Jay-yy9ol Жыл бұрын

Hi. Could be that the one wheel is not level with the others on the ground. It is not touching the ground completely. So when rolling, it contacts the ground intermittently causing a wobble. May be that the chassis frame is bent. To test this theory, find a level surface, maybe a table or kitchen counter. Park your R12 there and observe if one wheel is not making contact. Roll it around. Then add some gear onto the cart for downward pressure to see what this does. That could be the cause. The solution is… not sure. Try research online for, wobbling wheel on grocery cart”. Have a great jay.

Hi Tim, thanks for your video ! About the Aputure HR672, you recommand here to choose the 'spot' version instead of the 'wide' one. Do you think the Aputure softbox kit would be sufficient to diffuse the spot light and get the same diffused light than with the HR672 'wide' version ? Thanks for your time...
