Thanos needs a buff but so that means nerfing Arishem. I think somehow create extra slots on deck that does not take up space in on the field for Thanos, maybe that may work

I have 12k tokens and 0 keys. Should I buy copycat? I dont have nocturne. I have a lot of the important series 5 cards already so im not sure if i should pull the trigger on this and get the 300 tokens back for the weekly or skip and buy something else?
Sersi / Namora / iron lad / thena / nocturne would be the only other options of cards im missing that i would buy instead , but those wouldnt give me back 300 tokens for the weekly anymore which is to be taken into consideration

With Lockjaw back to original function, I don’t see Thanos needing a buff. I have been seeing him fairly frequently
Thanks for the excellent and appreciated discussion of diversity. I don't like to play or play against Thanos, but I like a meta with several viable archetypes so I would like to see a small buff to Thanos.
All Thanos stones should be 1 cost too start with, it's not too strong in the current meta.

Something I struggled with as a Mexican American growing up was that everyone around me was SO Mexican and I just couldn't really relate to a lot of my family. I was really nerdy and kind of chubby, I didn't really care about oogling muscle cars or playing soccer and my spanish was always good enough to understand conversation, but not good enough that I could really express myself. Having someone from a similar background who was willing to just live their life and enjoy their own interests would have been really affirming for me. I really did a lot of things I wouldn't have done on my own in a bid to find community, some I've grown to enjoy and some that I'm happy to leave in the past, but I wish I could have learned to be comfortable in my interests much earlier
I miss when the big bads felt like big bads lol I like the idea of the 6 drops being strong meta defining cards, I'd be down for some thanos buffs because I never see him played anymore

I appreciate your take on diversity in the conquerors event. I feel that children seeing themselves represented helps them build confidence towards achieving their own goals. Also seeing other groups represented helps show that it’s possible for anyone and would work toward breaking down biases/Stereotypes (good or bad) that sadly we humans have.

Well said on the diversity topic. It was very precise and specific which keeps the intent from being distorted. I also hate the slippery slope arguments because to paraphrase John Oliver where does a slippery slope stop? The answer is always somewhere it stops somewhere and that's fine. As far as getting Jewish representation that's harder because we look white when it's convenient for us to be white. I think an underappreciated part of the problem of mostly having big name creators is that the boost they get from this exposure is pretty limited. Most people interested in Snap content creation likely already follows any of them they're interested in. I get you need a balance of people that are well known and new people because if it's a bunch of people nobody heard of nobody will care but they seem to lean really heavily into already established names.
Thanos seems healthy now. I don't have him but I enjoy playing against him, which is a good sign imo

I just want to say thank you for all your hard work you’ve made playing Marvel Snap so much more enjoyable. Sadly I have decided to quit playing and won’t be watching content anymore. I feel like 2nd dinner is continuing down a very greedy path, and I don’t want to support this game anymore.

**Absolutely not happy with Thanos right now tbh; even the Fazzer deck while awesome seeming seems hobbled by Thanos still feeling half done on the changes and updates.
8:26 It’s always dicey to put out an expensive deck, and I sure feel bummed when one of the 6 or so cards I’m missing is present, but something about seeing an expensive deck I CAN use is also quite delightful, means I can have some unique advantages with it just by virtue of that 👌🖤

Mind stone at 2 cost feels so bad to play it's insane... maybe revert the fact that Thanos start in your hand also (and a stone draw Thanos maybe??)
I think don't think the problem with Thanos is it's power, my problem is that Thanos doesn't feel like it's doing something unique and Arishem feels like it's doing everything better. The stone synergy is borderline irrelevant it just serves as a way of not adding cheap cards to the deck allowing you to consistently see more big guys

I like Thanos where he is. Could he use some additional changes? Maybe, but I like that he is truly inevitable now. Also, I think if he gets randomly generated, he should immediately add the stones to your deck.
Another useless video that gives no decks useful for deadpools dinner. Focusing on infinite leader boards, when the player base is struggling to get the new card is dumb. This channel is getting worse, any one have any recommendations for youtubers with decks that work?

After playing Thanos for 2 mon5hs straight..I feel he should rest for a couple more months!
The Conquers event discussion really emphasised to me how America focused the Marvel Snap community is. We of course have issues with race and gender here in the UK but the dominating force and lens through which it is discussed is predominantly in terms of class. Along with content creators talking about American independence Day and other American holidays, I as a Brit often feels a little...like an outsider. Not even close to the same way Glazer referred to when he shared his experience as a kid. But more like there was a distance between myself and certain conversations. Its the same feeling I get before any American sports event where the army comes out and everyone salutes the flag. As though I'm watching a play but everyone else is part of the show and only I find the whole thing uncanny. Not sure I have a thought here to be honest. Just wanted to share a slightly different view on the matter. Perhaps other Europeans feel the same. I wonder if it limits the appeal of the game internationally - especially as without content creators i would have given up playing Snap a year ago. Big respect Glazer for making a point of the need for D&I and supporting smaller creators!

Wondering if you could go into card lane location on some deck types more often? You did it a little here w/WW, Titania, & Viper on a lane. The turn by turn is great, but if there’s specific lane play for cards that advice would be awesome too. Like you want to play C card on the same lane as A & B cards.

I actually commented about this yesterday, so I'll just repeat myself. Thanos should still start in hand because all the stones focus on him, so their value is heavily reduced if you don't see Thanos. Every stone should get +1 power except for the mind stone which should go back to 1 cost since it only hits stones and the stones are all much worse than they used to be.
Heavily agree that Yipes needs to be up there. Everything you said was nail on head.
I don't necessarily mind Thanos in the starting hand, just not in the first position because lowly Spider-Ham destroys him. Thanos' ability to not be destroyed and moved into *any* location is a huge buff. Make Mind Stone 1 again and see what happens. With Cassandra Nova - Thanos is very vulnerable.

That 70 to 80 comment about Cassandra is the most untrue thing I've ever heard this year man, was it based on top infinite players' win rate stats? Because then I'd understand, but for the average to low skilled player, this event is grindy as hell, the 80k to 400k table is a moat that didn't need to be there and it is simply frustrating. I get from 70 to infinite by doing dailies and a few bigger pushes here and there while I've already grinded the mod as much as it took me to get infinite this month and I'm still at 10 mil bubs, it is anything but as easy as you said. At 600k cap you get 4 shots a day to play a full 400k stakes game and if you don't hit a lucky streak you are done for the day unless you want to spend all day playing for a few k at the 80k table in an overly annoying 3 deck meta taking ages to make as much progress as a single 400k game, on top of that you need to log in multiple times compared to once and getting the 6 quests done as one usually does, so the play rate and stress factor is through the roof in this mode. Tables should have stayed 2x instead of jumping 5x and there should have been another mall at either 2 mil or 3 mil bubs, on top of that focusing so much on the snap mechanic from turn 4 is simply not fun and, as you said in other videos, too gambling focused to the point of being unhealthy. Only the people who spent gold on day 1 to get to 600k immediately had it easy facing bot after bot and everybody else got stuck in the 3 decks meta of ppl sweating against each other. I can only agree that 2 weeks are enough to make it eventually, but man if players will feel drained and stressed out by that time. All in all, not a fun mode and most definitely not what the game needed.

@@snapjudgmentspod Hi there, personally I think the 1 or 2 tables down strat only works before Ice Cream, once you are at that point, even griding Kebab its too slow, that's why I said that the sudden 5x divide its too sudden, should have started with a 3x at least if not sticking to 2x and make the final reward 100 mil. Anyway, I finally got a lucky streak of 5 wins between Ice Cream and a final game at Cherry Pie that put me exactly at 15.02 Mil to unlock her, so my objective has been achieved as I mainly wanted the card before Tuesday's reset for that super sweet super rare variant of hers, who knows how long it would have took it for it to show up again if I missed the initial release with the shop being so cluttered with album variants even when you have over half of them completed like me. Still, at least I can engage with the mode more casually now as I don't really care about the Pandart variant for the aforementioned reason. Anyway, I still think I'm one of the lucky ones because I hear a lot of complaints and ppl stressing out way too much in the official Snap discord's channel for the mode, releasing the event at the start of the season would have definitely paid far more dividends than this imo (besides all other issues that I highlighted in the other comment, that is).

Thanos is alright, but for a deck that expensive, you would expect better results. He's so dependant on his stones. I can't recount how many games I had 5 and 6 drops in my opening hands and no stones showing up until turn 5. Since the Lockjaw change, I've been playing a lot of Thanos, but it's really weak against a lot of archetypes (clog/junk is everywhere in my meta). About Conquerors, OWI was complaining that he was not contacted at all about the event, even though he was the last winner. I wholeheartedly agree with the lack of diversity and your take on it. I so appreciate the fact that you are sharing POC content creators (Flash, Prashaun, BlackDama to name some...).
