I used to love Brottany Broski but if I came out about being raped and she responded by saying that it WOULD be upsetting if there is proof would make me want to die. I thought it was believe all women or does that not apply to Tana? What really pisses me if off is she pretends like shes this feminist girls girl but she picks and chooses who she supports and believes. Being a feminist means supporting all women whether or not they fit your public image. She is giving pick me for sure.

Brittany is a bad person. That fact that she keeps collaborating with problematic white men but draws the line on controversial females is not okay

Trisha actually had a really great point on her podcast about being male-centered, and avoiding women, isn’t a great look- especially since Trisha is moving away from centering men and no longer avoiding women.

Considering she claims to be a feminist, why wouldn't she care or talk about what's happening in gaza. Women are forced to give birth in insanity and dangerous conditions, not having access to menstrual products, and being raped by Israeli soldiers. Only picking and choosing what women's issues that you care about isn't feminism.

Britany and Shane Dawson are the only 2 youtubers i can watch anything they post. The only youtubers to make me laugh and keep me watching whole videos. Idc how "canceled" they get i will still wathing. People are canceling people for basicly nothing and only focus on 1 bad thing and not 99 good things

i understand why you'd say that about britany broski, and I understand separating art from the artist, but DEFENDING shane dawson's actions is a crazy thing. the "1 bad thing" was abusing his power in multiple instances!!!

see, when u push someone to talk abt something that they didn’t want to address, and then they do address it, it just doesn’t seem sincere. so so many people are talking about it already and i’m not trying to defend her it just seemed that it was a topic she didn’t want to speak about. we can’t force people to talk about topics whether or not they’re an influencer or celebrity. she didn’t seem sincere (from what i could tell when watching the clip of it) and it seemed like it was bullshitted bc it wasn’t smth she wanted to talk about.

I feel like they don’t deserve hate they are 22 yos and got thrown into fame as they finished high school they also are still young and their fanbase is mostly younger (I’m part of that yes) but they mostly don’t understand that they are people who have normal lives other than KZread and can act immature because they are still young. As a younger fan I don’t understand why people sexualize Matt and Chris so much just because Nick is gay and exclude Nick A lot I feel bad.

this is so sad, cause i just discovered Brittany, and really enjoyed her videos, but this whole situation is making me think twice before watching someting she puts out. I hope she would clean up the situation. I fear that trying to not get canceled is just taking away from the things people liked about her ...just sad

how on EARTH is cancelled more problematic or "not brand friendly" when 1. they have all the same sponsors 2. she literally went on theo von 3. she regularly swears and says wildly inappropriate (and hilarious) things, and is WAY more graphic than anything on cancelled ... your point about her giving grace to men and having a double standard is so true, at least from my couch it is.

Tara is unoriginal and boring sleaze. Her videos of getting drunk then begging some guy not to date rape her while She is humping Him (babysit me while I’m drunk) are disgusting. Zach is also vile. Tara is not cool for being “so unbothered” by evil things that Zach says.

If you market yourself as political and remain silent on big political issues, then you’re just a fair weather friend. Being political means speaking out even when it could get you backlash or cancelled brand deals or mean comments. Not to mention Brittany reeks of “not like other girls” white feminism. No thanks.

I watch Brittany for entertainment and that’s it. It makes me laugh…I have my own principles and morals I’ll stick too. I don’t need influencers and celebrities to look up to. She’s not a bad person. Most people are hypocrites at some level. Nobody is a saint. Great video tho!

what hurt me in that video was that she didnt seem to even care about Gaza. she clearly wasn't worried and hadn't bothered to learn more, so of course she wasn't concerned to help. that was upsetting

In general it's kinda wild how much people push political stances and etc. on influencers. Like things won't change or get better by some random girlie having a link in their profile or mention whatever is going on once.

My thing is, I wouldn’t of been upset if she never mentioned the situation in Palestine the backlash that I received the whiplash of listening to her say if you have the platform you have to say something and then having her complain about people expecting her to say something and then her apologising for it and saying I’m upset that it was ever a question that I would support this. The whiplash. No one would have held her to this standard if she didn’t hold herself to it in the rage in the video of her saying why should I have to address This? Is what pisses me off. The hypocrisy. No one was pressuring her to say shit she made herself say shit. if she would’ve never posted that video about “why shouldn’t I care about what’s happening on the other side of the world” about roe V wade no one would have expected her to say anything

I feel like people always forget that they're just 20yo boys who got thrown into fame almost immediately out of high school. They're also humans just like everyone else in LA and everyone who isn't internet famous. People have got to stop acting like they know everything about them.

tbh i feel like her instagram story isnt as big of a deal as your making it out to be- alot of people have been fans of cody ko for years and had no idea of this, who is to think brittany is any different? just cause shes a creator doesnt mean she had all the inside info- same with the tana stuff, tana is known for being problematic while the other male creators arent still seen as that, plus tana said it herself "steep low to our level" i dont blame her, also in a male centric space ofc shes gonna collaborate more with men

I can only think one thing listening to all this drivel which is that it is so NOT worth it to be famous that we are going to keep getting worse and worse famous people. Because only a person with a giant sucking void inside them or a brutal emotional numbness would ever want a job this unfairly scrutinized.
