That’s where I disagree with Mike, club racing is essential to the sport. how do you know what kinda quality you’re sending out to the races? Awesome interview tho
@harryhoudini8626Ай бұрын
Club racing is definitely essential and one of the best ways to test the birds from a handlers touch but now days the one loft races consist of usually 3 to 4 race series starting usually from 200- 275 and 350 . I think Mike does support club racing. It’s just shifting a little towards one loft racing because of different circumstances. . I’m still active in club racing and am apart of two different clubs , islip club and the Lindenhurst club . Thank you for your comment.
@kerbyjackson88Ай бұрын
Agreed. I think if you aren't testing the pairs from which you send offspring, you may as well as just go down to the store and spend the entry fee on scratch off tickets. Your odds of winning with offspring of unknown breeding stock is just as low as playing the lotto. Regardless of pedigree, they can't all be good. Point is, send offspring of PROVEN pairs to the OLRs.

@harryhoudini86263 ай бұрын
I would recommend if you can giving it a bath with dawn dish soap. To clean the feathers Then letting it dry is important . You can towel dry it with a towel . Most importantly make sure it eats and drinks water . You can feed it rice or oatmeal if you don’t have any other seeds . Home depot has small bags of seeds you can purchase. I’m wondering why it was missing feathers . It may have been attacked by a hawk or cat .
