  I wish nbc and tbs would release late night with Conan O'Brien and tbs Conan. Such great comedy and many comedians got there break on Conan but the big corporate douche bags just sit o it. Why?

  Did people call Norm, "Old Norm" from his birth? He said he looked good for his age (he looked 0 when he was 1) but he sounds like a civil war general to me. I'm so confused.

  My theory is that Norm got the biggest laugh of his life during his Bob Dole days on snl. So he stayed in his Bob Dole character for the rest of his career. It's kind of like reversed Arrested Development...

  The stories i hear or see about the SNL auditions tells me 2 things: Lorne Michaels is a megalomaniac and he has no clue what comedy actually is. Example: Rob Schneider.

  Spade is the only one of those guys that remotely holds a candle to norm. Sandler can do good stuff. His greatest film is Happy Gilmore. When he wants to act, he can ACT. But as a comedian, norm is insane.

  I love comedians because most of them are finely attuned at recognizing truly funny people and just bask in it. It's called "holding court". When other comedians give extra room for one person to guide the conversation. I've heard many comedians say that Norm "held the court" most of the time. Its acknowledging that the funniest and most intriguing conversations are more than not going to be started by "the king of the court" like Norm. You can tell Sandler is more used to just listening when he's in a group with Norm which again tells you something about Norm

  Norm had a unique talent but lets take it easy, with big respect to all, he is NOT in a room full of hilarious people. The only really funny guy there except Norm is actually Conan and then Andy. Hilarious people are Louis CK, Bill Burr even Theo Von which can make people laugh with no script, just pure talent to be funny. Norm had it in his own way
