    I've flown mine since they first came out - fabulous plane. I changed the look to match the one Lothar Von Richthofen flew. I also changed the flyscreen on the front to a much larger opening size (1/4" screen) and that helped a lot. Mine flies on an Admiral 60cc equivalent motor, 12s with 150 Amp ESC using a 24x10 Falcon prop. After a few flights I changed out the skid for a tailwheel and it works much better. Very nice flier with a flight stabilizer that comes in handy on windy days. The fact that each pair of upper and lower wings can remain attached while sliding them onto the center section and the fuse is a game changer at the field. Eight minutes to assemble the plane. Fabulous. Hats off to Eli Machninchy on this one.

    Hi Egbert, as I have the same ESCs as you, can you tell me how you cool them? I had my first and second flight, sadly at the second flight one ESC reached 100 degrees C and it switched off. I did an emergency landing with luckily minor damage. But I need to cool them in flight. Can you tell me how you do that or give me a suggestion? Always happy landings from Germany, Jens

    Great explanation!! I have a few questions my dear friend: 1) is the 3d printed vertical stabilizer printed with some infill or is it empty? 2)What is the type of wood you used? 3)Can I use another fiber like for example mat 450 to reinforce the 3d printed part?

  • @eflaan
    @eflaan2 жыл бұрын

    Thank you! 1 it's printed with some infill. The biggest problem is that the 3d print will start to bend easily. 2 its a multiple layer of wood with a thin plastic top layer. I have no idea how it's called. 3 you can use any kind of reinforcement. It must be able to follow the contour. Good luck

    Hallo Egbert ik heb je zien vliegen op Odoorn in september, super!! Het heeft me doen besluiten ook een Bronco te kopen (die staat nu hier 😃) mijn vraag is welke maat propellors gebruik jij? BTW ik neem aan dat jouw Xpwr30ccv2 motoren dezelfde zijn als de Xpwr 32cc bij Bert ?

  • @eflaan
    @eflaan2 жыл бұрын

    Hallo Erik. Wat leuk om te horen dat jij een Bronco hebt gekocht omdat je die van mij hebt zien vliegen in Odoorn. Ik gebruik 19x8 electric houten props van xoar. Misschien zou 1 slag groter ook nog kunnen, maar dit gaat dan weer ten koste van je vliegtijd. De xpwr32cc is de opvolger van de xpwr30cc. Wat specs betreft zijn ze hetzelfde, de 32 zou verbeterd moeten zijn als het om duurzaamheid gaat. Als je nog meer vragen hebt mag je me ook altijd bereiken via facebook of instagram als je dat makkelijker vind.

    While I spray everything (often basecoat with two pack hardener -- light, super high pigment so need very little volume, fuel proof and flexible) I LOVE your idea of rolling on paint🥰 for such a model it's ideal and like spraying you can apply evenness and not much paint at that but also on fabric the texture is just right. Great stuff
