Does this mean we’ll see a decent price drop in this printer now that the 4600 is out?
you the engineers should set some vacuum on the heater to keep the print flat. that will be the solution, it happens a lot on my 365
How do you feel this printer, particularly the 24" version compares to Canons imagePROGRAF PRO-2600 series printer? I'm looking for something to do professional prints for our corporate clients and I want something that has top tier quality prints for photographs. Also, are either of these printers capable of printing 4x6 and 5x7 etc... cut sheets or do you have to handle this through a cutting process?
Who in the world wears a unsightly gold $5,000 Prada necklace in a product sales video - maybe the markup is a little too high on her products.
I have paper jam and it wont go away, please help
thank you
HI , I`m sick of epson XP-900 settings for the sizes for the paper and borders which comes by default and bordless box only available from A4 and above, there is no way to print full paper on A5 , the trick which works for me is putting two pics on size of A4 , print and then cut a half . But I have full box of Ilford A5 and bloody border come out so I can`t fit it into mount , it leaves white stripes and looks like shit
Great job Cheri! So proud of you. Learned a lot from your interview.
Great job Cheri. So proud of you
Now for the bad news. Files can only be JPG or Tif and At 16 rgb color. I’ve made it work at rgb 24 color in both formats. But this is kinda sad that there using only these formats. Here you have this amazing machine and the gateway to it is using formats that are over 20 years old. Some programs don’t even use those 8 - 16 rgb color profiles any longer. Other than that it’s a great machine just wish the software wasn’t so limited
You cant get it
I am very new to all this. I like to produce some Limited Edition Prints of my Oil Paintings on Quality Thick Textured 140 lb Watercolor papers. Would this printer do that?
This could defiantly do that, this particular model only prints up to A1 in size (which is still pretty big) I would go for the 4600 if you want to go larger. These printers are made for continuous work and you can run into trouble if you leave them dormant for longer periods of time (To ensure the print head nozzles are clear the printer will run a cleaning cycle, meaning It will force a fair amount of ink through the print head to avoid clogging and this is dumped into the maintenance tank This is rather expensive as the cost of these pigment ink cartridges is not cheap. If you just want to run an edition from your work I would suggest maybe working with a print lab that can capture a quality image of your work and offer you a selection of fine art papers. These printers require specially coated paper with ICC profiles in order to get an accurate print out. Hahnemühle Torchon is a paper that would most likely suit your needs.
I am an Oil Painter and like to start producing Quality Limited Editions of my Oil Paintings. I am very new to this. Does this printer print on 100% cotton 140lb Watercolor paper?
This version, the gp model is mainly for posters and signs
is it an easy apply grayback vinyl?
No difference, and near all print film adhesives are gray.
Is CO able to be used on matte papers?
Latest model with page gsm used and four inks
Sir could you please make review on mimaki Ucjv 330 -160 model and explaining is this beneficial for sublimation printing for sport apparels with mini ink ranges available?
thank you for this helpful video - love the music :)
Hi, I keep getting a dubble cutcontour line, even if i follow all your steps. Its a real small - but double line. When i use ctrl + y, it only shows 1 line and not two. But my printer keeps cutting 2 lines really near eachother. Any idea how to solve this?
great info! rhank you!
Does this have soft signage kit attached?
My HP Latex 115 started doing this. I think it depends on material and how the material acts during certain temps. usually my first print is good, then my next one will rub if i don't stick something inside the heat element to guide the material down.
Dude these things are GARBAGE!!! They take the weight off the dancer bar and jam the printer, They should have designed it for the front to add weight, not reduce. The print doesnt even stay taught, so loose, vaccum pressure doesnt matter. These are trash and expect your printer to jam if you do use these. Been running prints for years and years, decided to try these and adjusted weights all the way forward even to at least add some tension, but these remove ALL tension for most part and only jams with these. Garbage and who every designed these sucks
you got any videos how to glue photos for plexi front face mounting ?
this music is crazy
Don't listen to his gibberish, if you want to go insane buy this GARBAGE printer, HP latex 365 or 360 is the worst printer on the planet, you should be given your money to children hospital and you will more satisfy doing that, EPSON is the King of all KINGS period.👎

Pls let me know how get head up and down for my sticker head touching
how can canon and all other ink-jet companies not create a printer in 2024 that works. you have been making printers for 40 years now and are still far from getting anything right. canon and hp and all the other should be ashamed of your self for being so bad at your job.
I have a problem with this machine now. There are no advanced settings on the Mac to polish the print color. I am pleased with the quality of the print, but some colors are very darkened, for example, bright crimson(pink) has become more purple (velvet ) And I don't understand how to fix it. I bought this machine to print my art works and I print on hahnemile fin art paper. It will be nice to find some adviсe ❤
Are you using custom profiles? and also do you have a monitor that is calibrated with your paper of choice? reason for asking is, this is a brand-new machine, with new ink set, you will need to hard proof your image based on your prints. hence you need to recalibrate your monitor for each paper set combined with your new printer color gamut.
49:25 for the tl;dr
Why is there no print test ? no comparison with other old GP or PRO models ? No testing = Dislike No testing = Dislike
Why is it not on your website any longer?
Will this work in printed from canon imagaprograf?
"promosm"
Is it possible to control the ink density through the Media Configuration Tool? I am interested in printing transparencies for digital negatives for CYANOTYPE and other Alternative photographic processes. many thanks
Appreciated - the imagePrograf Pro-2600 is my first large Canon printer (coming from Epson). All the tips are helpful! I was getting annoyed at the thing shutting off every 5 minutes. Already did the firmware to 1.03. Thanks again!
honestly thought I was watching something from the 80's with those huge microphones and bad suits
So, not explained, but does that roll paper adjustment work by sensing dot offset from "commanded" feed position?
But how do you turn it off?
It’s quite difficult to turn it off tbh . You have to set it up in substrate library with a print mode .i thought there would be an easy way to just switch it off . Also does 0.5 have an impact on laminating ?
No “create outlines” when I right click
I know it’s a technical printer and not listed as a photo printer but I would like to see the highest quality on luster paper it can print.

this happens as a result of the heat inside the curing module, combined with the inherent curl of the material. if the material has a good curl to it, it won't lay flat as it is moving down into the curing module. the heat and fans combined with the curl of the material will suck the material to the top of the curing module where the ink will get smeared. to prevent this, typically you can just roll the material out until it is sticking out of the bottom of the curing module as he did in the video. on rare occasions/materials when that isn't enough, you must attach the material to the take-up reel before starting the print so that the take-up reel is applying tension to material and preventing it from getting too close and sucked up by the fans inside the curing module. Yes, you will waste 3-5 feet of material to start a print depending on whether the take-up reel is needed but it'll save your prints. also 5' of waste is negligible if you nest or print multiple jobs at a time.
