    Thanks for your video, is helpful for me as I'm just started to use Logic. I'm recording my song with just instrument and very simple arrangment. Thus, may be I'm not really getting into deep as your level, and found it quite hard to digest for some points. Anyway, thanks. Do have a listen to songs that I have in my YT channel - I'm sorry cause mostly I'm recording Chinese songs. 🙂😉😊

    Question about 3rds (4ths, 5ths, etc.)... if I'm harmonizing in 3rd in say C... does that mean say a D is harmonized by an F (3rd in key) or F# (Major 3rd)... I guess I'm asking "Are parallel thirds always a major or minor third... or does it change between major and minor thirds as we move around the scale?"

  • @Alexander-oh8ry
    @Alexander-oh8ry9 күн бұрын

    Just use the one that appears in your scale. In C Major, simple harmonization uses no accidentals

    To me “electric piano” = rhodes style piano. Not a digital version of a hammer piano. This is only important if you searched for “how to EQ rhodes”. Thanks for the video in any case. I’ll come back if I need tips on how EQ a piano.

    The chorus method can't be considered a technique because now the voice sounds in chorus (multiple people singing). Also I didn't find the vibrato effect it produced that appealing. The first method also did not add vibrato. Only the 2nd method was promising. How do you add vibrato with Melodyne?

    ‘80’s pop rock artist Billy Idol distorted his voice with proper technique. He did not shout and scream to give his voice the rough, raw sound. He actually sings very softly. I saw him live in a club a billion years ago, and I was fascinated as I realized he wasn’t straining his vocal cords…even in his screams.

    Appreciate the syllabus-like opening where you very clearly explain the sections of the plugin. This is the most direct and clear of the several Phat FX tutorial vids. Thanks.
