Just got this yesterday and I am not impressed as far as how it runs or lack there of when its empty and on dirt with pea size stone, it gets hung up easy and just sits there spinning the tires but if you put a load on it then it will kind of move. It does have a strong dump mechanism and power i just wish the rims and tires were interchangeable with aftermarket tires and rims as these tires are to hard and not good on tread patterns.

i put in a new steering servo, injora portals, 2.2wheels and 5.7 tires, 12mm wheel hub extensions. going to do a new motor next

I have one and I love it. I run it on 3S too. I damage the spur gear a while ago, and glad that Amazon has parts for both spur and pinion gear, and they're also a metal upgrade. I found Aliexpress has parts too but under the name of VXR racing RH902. Availability of the parts is good things about Laegendary RCs.

I have two of these orange and green they look cool that’s it played with them once or twice then back in the box top heavy and slow for the crawl not worth the $300 price

These are more considered trail trucks in their box form. You can always add weight and lower the suspension to make them less top heavy. Crawlers are slow. They're not 6s bashers. You can always add a crawler brushless system if you want more wheel speed. RTR electronics are just to get you started. I always change them out.

The thunders are the fastest out of all the Rcs that this company makes that’s it . all Their other stuff is in my opinion for kids this one kid and Adults can play with. I have construction equipment from this company also . I have the Grando jeeps they ok but top heavy good for looks .

I have bought six of the thunders and they do about 31 on the 2s but, somewhat faster with 3s I ripped the gears in the rear doing wheelies on the 3s batt though I’ve worked on these much as I ran them . Front end are plastic hit one thing and the bumper breaks them A-Arms break just purchase metal parts from jump . It will save you the headache. I have one I worked on six or seven times that’s my favorite one even all are alike. I have two nitro short course from laegendary also 1/8 scale bigger but, much slower than the thunders . These buggies and Trucks could be top notch if they would use all metal parts. I stopped playing with them so much to much replacing parts that they didn’t have all the time. These thunders prices started at 269.00 when I bought mine the nitro was $300 starting price. Their prices Go up and Down. I don’t like how they stop you will eventually have problems with the gears and esc also . You get what you pay for 😂

Hey i got one of these and i learned the the hard way as you said the plastic control arms are weak AF!! anyway im looking for some advice on ways to make the car a bit more "punchy" it just seems to have no torque and im not 100% how best to go about upgrading all the electronics. I made sure to buy everything aluminum possible and its on its way but im having a hard time getting the shock tower in the front to bolt up. I work on real cars all the time and somehow this little bastard has me stumped

Hi, just curious…Was the stock 35mph on the 2S battery or 3S?

If I remember correctly it did about 30mph stock 2s battery’s. And about 35mph with 3s. There is a noticeable difference between 2s and 3s though. Id stick with 3s
