😎🤘🏼
Nice Chris!! Man that thing is tough!!!
Clyee has no love for me lol
😝👍🏼👍🏼😝
It seems to be tough enough! 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸
I can’t bring myself to use my own pistols to do any drop tests, for any red dot co. Oh hell to the NO.
Looks good🔥
Can you buy the 6.5 CM uppers yet???
Unfortunately not the upper by itself. That would be nice though. Hope Ruger offers that in the future.
Great review man!!!! I really like the P-07,it was actually the first Cz I ever shot.I ended up renting one at my local indoor range, and I felt like I could hit anything I aimed at with that gun,and I actually love the trigger on it.I plan on getting a P-07,or a P-09,definitely some kind of Cz,but most likely one of the two I mentioned…
It’s an excellent pistol! Had it out again this past weekend… it just shoots so good. It’ll be going in my EDC rotation very soon. Thanks for stopping by!
Great tutorial, and really nice sights man!!! I didn’t think it was that easy, good to know.I am planning on getting these ones,or some others to change out the factory ones.I really am not a big fan of the factory ones, and I agree these ones are better that you put on for older eyes for sure!!!!
Thanks! Glad to help out. Sights are usually one of the first things I change these days to help me shoot better with my eyes, no doubt.
Awesome gun and video Brother
Thanks brother! Hope you’re having a great week!
Brown what? Grab it from where? The website search bar is crop out in the video.
Brownells of course 😃. But things an older video, not sure these are even produced anymore.
U may want to check if ur missing a grip screw washer. 92 mags always drop free. You shouldn't have to pull then out.
Thanks! I’ll check that. I believe they do drop free now, but didn’t do easily when it was new.
@ChristianGrest Just a heads up if it's the newer style thin grips, they may have an o ring under the screw. Either way that's a nice gun man.
I always feel a connection with my dad when I shoot his guns. It’s a special experience to remember him and the great times we had together. Thanks for sharing this experience with us!!
Same here. Just got his old 1996 F-150 back from the shop… had been there since last October.
@@ChristianGrest All running good now?
Awesome history behind it, family jewel for sure brother 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks brother 😊 Wish I had shot it sooner, but it was one of my goals this year to get my dad’s old muzzle loaders out. Still have lots to learn.
I had one in .45 very similar, but traded it. I kept another in .50 cal and it's tucked in the back of the safe. Fun to shoot! There are thinner patches available that might make loading easier. Old sheets and pillow cases make great thin patch material too.
Thanks for the tip! Still learning these things. What a fun one to shoot!
🔥🍿🍿🔥
😁
A beautiful old pistol! Terrific video.
Thanks brother!
Hello. I was wondering if you can tell me the dimensions how long is the 407a3 please
Almost a year later, what’s your update? Yay? Nay? Also, how about light bearing pistols?
It’s a nice holster! I don’t carry my Glock as much since switching over to my P365XL Spectre Comp. Can’t remember if they had plans for light options, but I’m sure they’ll be on their order page. The last 3 holsters I picked up from Harry’s Holsters and they don’t have light options at the moment, but also a very nice holster option. Both companies here in NC too which is pretty cool.
@@ChristianGrest thanks for reply! I’ll check out their site soon!
It's a Captain Jack Sparrow pistol 🤣
You know it’s funny… I’ve always referred to it as a pirate pistol when describing it to folk 😂
Cool stuff Chris. From my understanding, ~real~ black powder, if wet, will still burn after it is dried out. Pyrodex, once wet, will not burn when dried. Perhaps a good follow up test?
Thanks! Thats a great idea actually, never heard of that before, but I’m very much a traditional muzzleloader novice.
@@ChristianGrest Keep your powder dry and don't go off half cocked.👍
I was right! It does shoot!
It did. Wish I hadn’t waited so long to shoot it, but better late than never. Still learning these muzzleloaders.
Verry cool
Thanks!
Awesome firearm. I love when firearms are passed down to the right person. Keep it in the family. 2A🆙️
Thanks brother! Sure wish I hadn’t waited is long to shoot it.
Hands down the best BUIS for precision and/or ast work. Most fun too.
They are pretty dang sweet! Need to snag a set for my next build.
Start from the beginning?
@@brianmoriarty8875 👍
Got one when it first came out. Gambled and it paid off. Easily the best shooter I’ve owned. I’m 70. Follow ups are incredible. Shot the center out of the target on first magazine and fell in love with it. It was like wow. This pistol shoots. It can be tricked up a bit but really it’s up to you. I’m a tritium guy. But dot people have to choose what they want.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving your thoughts. So far it’s been one heck of a pistol. I did add a dot just because it’s capable, but the irons are plenty good to be honest.
@@ChristianGrest I see no reason for a dot. I just wish the front sight was tritium. It’s accurate as is. But IMO tritium is better.
Great review Christian. I hope to see a comparison video of this and the CZ shadow 2 compact.
Appreciate it! Yea a good comparison will be coming at some point. Really want to get both past 1K rounds before a side by side, but hopefully won’t take too long. Haven’t been to the range in a few weeks, too much going on but hopefully can get back soon.
@@ChristianGrest I understand. That will be great when you get there, I look forward to it!!
Curious why did you go for the HK style Troy front sights instead of the M4 style?
Just like that style, no real reason other than that. All of the sets I have are the HK style.
they are overpriced as a muther fker !
I freaking love this optic! I beat the snot out of it and still holds zero
Yea so far so good with mine. Plan on some torture testing soon.
For paint, I've never bothered with the fancy coatings. If I want to paint my rifle I just go ahead and rattle can it and have always been very happy with that. Easy to remove if you want to later. To match FDE accessories I've used the Rust-oleum American Accents line of spray paint in Nutmeg, which pretty perfectly matches FDE shades depending on the manufacturer. Give it a try.
Thanks for the suggestion! I ended up leaving it be, but who knows. Aluma Hyde has been my go to for easy do at home coatings, but it’s harder to strip if needed.
Is this recommended for castle nut torquing?
Not just for the ladies…I picked up one for myself today 🤷🏼♂️ it’s the one that felt the most balanced and comfortable in my hand so I went with it 😁
It’s definitely a nice pistol! I picked up the Spectre Comp which is very similar, but the Rose is really a better value. I’d rock it! Thanks for watching!
this is super helpful. thank you.
Glad it helps!
Is that plate made from aluminum or steel?
Steel
Blasphemy comparing anything to GOD'S gun lol. She looks like a good shooter.
😂 someone had to say it! Yea man she’s a good one… wish they had an optic cut, but other than that no complaints so far.
The Ruger SFAR is a disappointment. Accuracy is not good
It's been putting out decent accuracy since the barrel change. It's not a match rifle by any means, but plenty accurate. If you watch the groups on this video and my previous video with the test target sent back with it after the barrel change.
Reliability? Does it run defensive ammo?
Ive ran some Hornady Critical Duty and Defense without any issues, but haven't ran a bunch of different loads. It's ate absolutely everything I've ran, 115gr, 124gr, 147gr, brass and steel cased.
@@ChristianGrest Thanks for the reply. If I may ask, I would love to have the classic MP5 (or a clone, lol) in my collection, but I don't like having guns that I can't trust my life to. In your opinion and based on your sample, would you trust your AP5 to be a HD or SHTF gun? Thanks for your time and for the great video.
@@user-ef9qh8dv2d definitely would. There’s maybe some better options, but this design has been around a long time. As always, properly vet your firearm before putting in a defensive role.
#CZLIFE CZ IS THE WAY
Apparently I missed that memo many years ago 😂. Better late than never 😁
I would really like CZ to make this in an optics ready version.
Totally agree. Thats been my only real complaint so far.
Great video Brother and I hope you have a great week
Thanks! You as well!
Good deal!!
Thanks!
Good guns
Have to agree!
I have a P07 in .40, nice gun.
It is, especially for what they cost. I’ve been quite impressed.
There is zero comparison. CZ makes glock look pathetic!
Have to agree with you there… G is pretty far behind.
