  Your video lacks two things! 1 you did not said the milimeter thickness of the heatsink and 2 you did not said the milimeter thickness of the thermal pad? Do you know the measurement thickness of the heatsink and the thermal pad?

  Oh yeah my bad! The copper heatsink thickness is 1.5mm while the thermal pad is 1.0mm.. Already edited the description..

  Sorry bro, can't verify that since it depends on the design and the clearance of the board to the case which also varies per model.. It is also twice as thick as i used in the video which i think may not fit on some models..

  Hi, i just installed all drivers available.. you could try these.. 1 make sure you install the chipset drivers 2 install first the intel hd graphics driver before installing nvidia driver

  If you will just replace it yes no need for additional cable.. just reuse the one where the recent defective drive was connected..

  Hi there! Could you please inform whether there is an option to use 1TB Sata SSD instead of HDD in case in Maintenance and Service Guide for my HP 14 Laptop PC (14-bs0xx) it is stated that it can support several highest possible combinations: a) only HDD = 1TB b) only M.2 SATA-3 (value) = 256 GB c) only M.2 SATA-3 (TLC) = 512 GB d) dual storage = 256 GB M.2 SATA-3 (value) + 1TB HDD. As you can see using solo storage configurations I can maximum have 512 GB through M.2 SATA-3 slot or use 1TB HDD through regular SATA-3. But what if I remove HDD and put SSD instead... Can I use 1TB, what your thoughts on that? Big thanks in advance! ❤

  Hi, do you mean your ram slot dont have lock latch? if thats the case, try to checj if your slot is not broken, it should have come with latch lock..

  Nope, the RAM sticks are not soldered but its a bit challenging to access as you need to unscrew the main board as you can see in the vid..

  Hello sir, I have the same laptop Hp 15-bw0xx with Amd E2-9000e processor. There is 160 HDD installed in it and working fine (booting and surfing but lagging). I tried to install Consistent 260GB ssd , Toshiba 500 GB(5400 rpm) Hdd and HGST 500GB hdd (7200rpm). Only with toshiba hdd laptop detects windows and move further from HP logo . But stucks and shows error screen like 90s TV's. And with ssd and 7200rpm hdd not even windows logo is showing. Either it stucks on HP logo or restarts again and again or again same Error screen. I have also tried changing legacy mode to UEFI . And vice versa . Tried to install windows also in both the ways . But it didn't work But all three storage device (SSd and HDDs ) are working just fine in my HP Elitebook 840G2 laptop. Please help me if you can 🥺
