1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

To make sextant 12 inch ruler, protractor string and a weight . The easiest is to look at the sun and moon when they are IN the CLOUDS

I'm grateful my views of Dr. Kipping's content suggested this channel! Always wondered about this dilation: is it Miller's planet's required orbital speed, in stable(?) orbit of Gargantua that causes the dilation? Or is it just proximity [to black hole] alone that causes it? Not sure if that makes sense. Just curious! Great vid, thanks both 🤯
@MadScientist267Ай бұрын
The way I get it, the proximity alone does it. Having a vector would modify it.

Thank you for your question! @MadScientist267 is right, the proximity to the black hole causes time dilation.

It's not a planet they're looking for. It's moons. The search they are doing is to see if planetary systems around stars that we have found, if they have moons like our planets do. Because whatever they find will be of valuable information. If they do not have moons, maybe our position in the universe is more unique than we imagined, or if it's common for them to have moons, it will tell us about how they form, and hints to what we should expect to find. Either way I am absolutely pumped to see what they see, and your careless attitude can go straight to hell! (If you believe in that sort of thing, if not, well screw you, ya champion!)

"the first telescope that would survey the sky at wavelengths that were unattainable from the ground" TL:DR IRAS could be argued to be the first depending on how you define the terms, but there where precedents. If you mean all wavelengths not attainable from the ground then the Uhuru X-ray telescope would be the first to do an all sky survey. Launched in 1970! But of course that was only a catalogue, IRAS was indeed the first to image the entire sky, in any wavelength as far as i'm aware. Though it wasn't the first space telescope to return any kind of image. For instance the Einstein (X-ray) Observatory (launched 1978) took what can generously be described as images, if you are a very generous person.

Why are we still using CGI? If we have 20000 satellites outside the atmosphere why are the zero real PHOTOGRAPHS and zero real videos. It literally all CGI. Secondly, how are we supposed to belief the weakest "force" in the universe, gravity is holding all the planets in the solar system together when there is only a small fraction of gravity in space? And the moon somehow is unaffected to the suns gravity when supposedly between the the earth and sun. Could it be because of the moon is not a solid object as it is very obviously transparent as we have captured stars behind the moon which a visible? It's strange the satellites out of our atmosphere can keep up with our planet which is traveling 490,000 MPH chasing the sun plus orbiting the Sun at 66k mph. Over 80x the speed of sound 😅
