  @TheMaternityMentor I'm currently 8 months pregnant and was diagnosed with UTI. The doctor at our local hospital gave me Cefuroxime Axetil 500g to be taken 2 times a day for 7 days to treat my condition(my OB was not available at this moment) but after 2 days of taking it, I felt itchy in my genital area-I am currently on my 4th day in this medication. I was also diagnosed with UTI way back in my 2nd trimester and my OB gave me Co-amoxiclav to treat it and I also felt an itchy genital while taking the said antibiotics. I went back to my OB and had him known my condition and he said my UTI was gone already and what I was experiencing was BV.Why I am always feeling itchy down there whenever I take antibiotics? Is it because of a BV again or could be just a reaction to antibiotics? I do look forward to your response Ma'am.Thank you!

  Reverse cycling is not a breastfeeding phenomenon. It happens with formula fed babies too, and not uncommonly.

  Hello. I am currently on bed rest until full term. I just got out of the hospital bcoz i was experiencing light vaginal spotting at my 21 weeks AOG. Found out my cervix is shortening. I didn’t have cerclage because cervix is 2.66cm and no funneling. Any tips for my bed rest? And also i’m anxious i didn’t get the cerclage

Very informative video,im nearly 35 weeks now and experiencing dirrhea and lower tummy pain like period pains, also some pain in the opening of vagina.and mild lower back pain on one side only. Some content suggestions would be if you could show us how to push well and breathe, or some tips so we do not tear or tear minimum. Thanks again!🎉

  I am currently 19 weeks pregnant with my 12th baby. And ive been bleeding for the past 24 or so hours. Almost like a regular period. My lower abdomen was tender but no definitive contractions and no clots at all. Most of theblood came out on toilet paper when i used the bathroom. Im also recovering from mild pneumonia. The bleeding has pretty much stopped and i only see the occasional light pink spot. But im worried about baby. Due to get blood test results tuesday and i have an ultrasound wednesday morning.

  I just had my first emergency hopefully my last, epidural was probably misplaced because I felt the full process. So the pain was inevitable on start, on the bright note I believe I’m coping well. :) it’s been 5-6 days post surgery.

  Hello, I would like your advice about a situation: My wife, if she was pregnant, would be in her 29th week, however, - Every pregnancy test she did was negative - we didn't want to do an ultrascan so we didn't go to the hospital - her belly has become like a pouch and is slightly portruding but not so little that it would just be gaining weight from eating - She has put on weight all round her body to be honest, which is not normal based on her diet. - she doesn't feel many 'kicks' - she is extremely tired, i mean extremely tired What can you comment/suggest? I appreciate your answer

  Hello Dr. Samantha, I have a few questions. Can I switch baby formulas cold turkey or do I have to transition my baby off slowly? Also regarding boiling tap water. I noticed that there are white things floating or a layer of film on top of the water once cooled. Is it safe to feed my baby this water? I stopped and started using bottled water instead. And no you do not sound or look weird/funny. Thank you for still doing the Q&A while testing positive for covid.
