If you had thoughts of Pat Martino while writing/arranging this I would call it a very sensitive and insightful rendering! If not, even more spectacular! All the best! 🙏🙏🙏

Hey Daniel thank you so much for this. I’ve struggled with arpeggios for a while now, but finally up to the point where the shapes are familiar territory. I am now lost with connecting them together in improvisation. I do the connecting exercises, but still find that I am not achieving much. Can you suggest anything for this? Do I focus on playing the specific 3rd or 7th between each chord? Or just the nearest note on the fretboard? Cheers

Once you learn a few jazz specific embellishments it all really starts sounding like jazz. I like this approach vs just memorizing licks, i want to know how to make my own licks.

@@WeissGuitar I got to see him at Bakers Keyboard Lounge in Detroit back in the late seventies. A lot of my records are MIA but the one album with Elvin Jones I believe. Cool . Thanks for responding. I am visiting Romania now with wife and I see real jazz seems to be getting some traction. Hopefully it grows.
