If you had thoughts of Pat Martino while writing/arranging this I would call it a very sensitive and insightful rendering! If not, even more spectacular! All the best! 🙏🙏🙏
What if I wanted to do this in eight notes?
Wow Daniel, the harmonic movement in your arrangement blew me away. Best arrangement ever.
This is the most boring way to learn guitar.. flat 3rd.. diatonic shit! Fabulous sound but too much theory and crap!
Is This from The charlie parker Omni Book? cant not Find it?Whats Bar ?
I transcribed it from the "Donna Lee" recording. Writing it out myself really helps me internalize it , kzread.info/dash/bejne/YmaV0rWoqKWdcpc.html 1:21
Wow! You never cease to blow my mind with amazing concepts for being more creative on my instrument. Nice job!

hello Daniel, I've been "at it" a long time, now it's like learning a whole new language since finding your teaching style.. Thanks a mil'.
Very happy to hear that tony :-) always invited to check out more cool stuff at weissguitar.com and stay in touch
Thxs Daniel ! Great job👍!
Hey Daniel thank you so much for this. I’ve struggled with arpeggios for a while now, but finally up to the point where the shapes are familiar territory. I am now lost with connecting them together in improvisation. I do the connecting exercises, but still find that I am not achieving much. Can you suggest anything for this? Do I focus on playing the specific 3rd or 7th between each chord? Or just the nearest note on the fretboard? Cheers

Very practical video this should be made into a series for jazz guitar- just one phrase but dissecting the idea and provide space for exploration!
Thanks! I have diatonic workout on my website weissguitar.com inside GMG2 and Melodic Minor
the drummer is off the chain fantastic! lol
Nice idea thanks 🙏
Great Daniel! ❤
The wife beater singlets, killer!!

That backround light is 80s Miami Vice.
“Inviting that phrase into your playing” (vocab). Gold….
just beautiful!
Thank You 🙏🏻
I so much appreciate you lesson. Pls, in enclosing the target tones should it be any one of the target tones or all the tones that makes up the chord. I mean during performance. Tnx
i dont usually leave comments on a youtube video but damn, i have to make an exception for this one... nice job!

Fantastic insight, lovely tone. Great lesson. Thanks
Dude thats a good look with out the hair..you look like you 16 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks Daniel very cool stuff, Play the Triads arpeggio change my life, 1-3-5-7,3-7-1-5, etc. My Brain Smoke!!! for a years, just start to explore 5th,6th 7th.up side down amazing sound will see in a year, an other world.
Once you learn a few jazz specific embellishments it all really starts sounding like jazz. I like this approach vs just memorizing licks, i want to know how to make my own licks.
Imaging Kurt rosenwinkel Mike moreno and you Daniel .Your styles are kinda close not saying similar and you guys all Silent-Killers .Daniel if i could fly my all wings to land in your spot take away your beautiful Dangelico excel ss if would be great bro
This is a great lesson. Thanks.
Beautiful flowing bluesy jazz line. I have work to do! I'm glad to see that you name the notes by intervallic relation to the harmony, instead of just string-fret/location. Thank you Daniel!
You're very welcome! thanks for tuning in
Extremely valuable, thank you!!
WHOA!!!!
We need the lesson on how to TEACH while playing beautiful solos…
Thanks 🙏
Hats off to you . Thanks
You seem to have an abundance of good will (as much as knowledge and skill). I am seriously considering your course.
And as an old schooler let us not forget the blues flavor ala Grant Green. Etc… keep up the good work.☮️
Thank you Garry 🙏🏻I love Grant , what is you favorite album of his?
@@WeissGuitar I got to see him at Bakers Keyboard Lounge in Detroit back in the late seventies. A lot of my records are MIA but the one album with Elvin Jones I believe. Cool . Thanks for responding. I am visiting Romania now with wife and I see real jazz seems to be getting some traction. Hopefully it grows.
