I just want to say, I was down the road from sfhs. I was in second grade when the shooting happened. I remember it like it was yesterday, I heard all the shots, the screams, the fire alarm. Everything. Dr. Leah Wall the superintendent at the time was a horrible person. From what she said to the victims families here, to how she generally handled the district. She didn't have best interest in students or staff. We had a freeze and the city asked to use a old school and they would put heaters in it for the citizens who were less fortunate or lost power, she said no cus she didn't feel like opening up the old school and having people in it. That is the first time she has done something like that. Luckily she left 3 years ago. The superintendent we have now, Dr. Bott is amazing. He has completely changed the district for the better and had to fix this broken district.

Now I don’t want to ruin your story but as someone who was in the 8th grade at Santa Fe at the time and knowing we’re all the schools are located I find it very hard to believe that you heard any of this if you were at the second grade school at the time as they are probably 2-4 miles away from each other

Charlie Minn does amazing documentaries, he asks all the questions we want to ask. Not shy one bit! So many of his documentaries are on Tubi, we need to be better and learn from these tragedies and remember the ones who lost their lives so early and appreciate the ones in our lives ♥️

If we are speaking about the tec for the medical examiner and crime scene analysis, she’s not unprofessional. It was stated she had to take an anxiety pill before this interview. She’s detaching to try and explain what happened correctly and with detail. These kids were shot with a shot gun. Imagine the damage that does for the victims. Some even being shot in the head. They saw poor children’s brains, blood; teeth, hair, ears etc all over the floor. The same way that medical examiners testify in trial while looking at the photos taken during autopsy. Seeing anyone dead is horrible, but these were kids.

Thank you for allowing us to learn about Santa Fe H.S. ... I'm in Florida, my friend was a teacher at Parkland, he is alive, but remember the anxiety of not knowing of his whereabouts for hours. EXCRUCIATING!!! I do remember hearing about this tragedy, but NEVER really heard much or knew much about it. It was drowned out. As though nothing really happened. Only 1 person injured and 1 deceased and NOTHING more. MY HEART goes out to each and everyone that was affected but such evil. The politics of IT all ANGERS ME. Meanwhile, all these folks are dealing with the horrific aftermath and NO the pain gets worse over time, especially when it continues to happen, you're right back. GOD BLESS; may Peace prevail on Earth, cause the trajectory has gone of the rails.

She was saying it was hot in May in Texas so why was this kid allowed to wear a trench coat in school where he could conceal a gun underneath. It wasn’t allowed in the dress code anyway and didn’t it attract suspicion when this kid was wearing a trench coat in 90 degree weather. She didn’t say SHE was warm.
