The driver did you no help. He could have spread the rock as he drove out.
how does ultrabase compare to sportbase? they are different but focused on the same solution
Is Ultra Base's President saying that even though their panels are designed to interlock, if you install them as designed, they will bulge up when the weather changes? Sounds like a design flaw to me!
I like what I see and hear, but I’m concerned that you don’t mention water. I hope to build a bocce ball court on a few acres we’re building on just a few miles from the Canadian border in the far north reaches of Idaho. We’ll need to fence it to keep elk, deer and bears off it but that’s not your concern. Water is. I’m wondering if French drains can be installed under your product?
Will it solve water ponding issues? I have a concrete semi covered futsal court, but water tends to pond after heavy rain. With no proper gradient on court, will this product able to solve the issue if i were to install artificial turfs ?
I have a few questions about implementing this system in an indoor space. Who can I speak to? Thanks
Too many straight lines paver size too large not interlock. Check ICPI this not to standards
So right
how do you remove it?
How safe are these turf fields? Are they toxic? If they are made from crumb rubber(ground up tires), I would recommend doing more research. Some turf companies have non-toxic alternatives to crumb rubber.
What was the total cost? Thanks
What’s the cost of a 46x30 court
Thank you
Why is the music so loud?
I am nervous about UltraBase. I asked them for references, and they have so far ignored my question. Anyone here installed UBS for Pickleball that I can talk with?
I’m assuming this is not for home DIY projects
What if we have solid panels on the face what happens to the water can we drill holes ?
How can a turf can be safely clean up and desinfect?
Does this work well in extreme heat long term? Our school is in Las Vegas.
how did you get the turf to stay down on the panels? Did you glue it down?
I want to build a mini skatepark in my backyard, I really dont want to use concrete. How can 8 get my hands on these? Also if they cost an arm and a leg I might aswell use concrete
Can I paint lines on it and if 8 can what should I use
Did they just place the turf on top or did they glue it down to your ultra base?
can your UltraBase handle full shots from a distance?
Curious to know what turf you would recommend for a bocce court that drains well and preferably has the 5mm backing?
Wow
Can I put these pannels on top of concrete?
You can, but from my experience ball bounce is much poorer than just the concrete itself.
I have researched what's needed to build a backyard bocce court and I do agree the UltraBaseSystem panels is a better option verses a concrete pad, what I disagree on is the cost and how this video makes it appear as if you can simply remove the top layer of sod and lay the fabric and then the panels. It's not that simple, because the flat surface will need to be built with plenty of 3/4 clear gravel or some form of good drainage rock to allow for proper drainage. I have priced it both ways, excavating the area, bringing in several loads of rock, drainage pipe, fabric and the UltraBase Panels, and then excavating, pouring a 4" concrete pad... It comes out to be about the same price either way... I would prefer to use the panels over concrete, but I'm not ready to pull the trigger until I see a price break.. They are just simply unaffordable. But i'm hoping within this calender year (2022) I can find these panels somewhere at a more affordable price, cause I'm really wanting to build a bocce court.
Use rubber horse stall mats or cow mats. Cheap heavy duty and easy to level
Also, how is the turf secured?
I am building a bocce court in my backyard which is currently grass. What type of base do you recommend under the tile?
How do these panels do in the event of strong winds? Like a hurricane or something like that.
Does this still work in 2022?
So after rolling out turf on top of UB panels, can you stretch turf tight even though the barbs on panels grab the turf?
Also what if I have a 5mm pad attached to turf? Can the barbs grab onto the pad and prevent movement of turf and pad? I’m looking at putting a non-fill agility turf (3/4” pile max) with attached 5mm pad. I want to use champion product as the base floor is concrete.
@@jasonshuffler7720 did you end up doing your project? how did it end up working out? we're looking to do a basement so trying to learn best practices / materials for install on concrete in a basement.
What’s the size of this field?
which of your panels were used for this installation?
For this install it was a our Ultra Base MAX panel - ultrabasesystems.com/max/
this is great - I can tell you my story with a versa court at my residence - what a mess - they took days to build the base and very costly - the base is already breaking down due to weather and its not even two years - I wanted this for my court but at the time, you guys wouldn't sell it to me for my court base. I'm glad its available now - I wish you would sell it to homeowners vs. making us go through dealers who charge a fortune. You should make the courts into a kit!! I will be watching your emails for when this is available. Love the company that is doing the putting using ultra base - also, we need colors and maybe an app where we can design a court, sent as a kit - there are so many places you can go with this!! Kudos to the inventor.
Sorry you're having a tough time with your traditional court base. Just so you know, we are now selling directly to end users and our team instructs the full installation process. Many of the photos you're seeing on our homepage applications for pickleball, and basketball are homeowner DIY projects - if we can be of any help going forward let us know! [email protected] or 727-391-9009 - ultrabasesystems.com/basketball/
@@UltraBaseSystems thats fantastic - I will be in touch - wondering if you have colors yet, or pre-made court kits - p.s - I watch all of your videos - you do an amazing job explaining everything
I wouldn’t purchase. Followed instructions ball bounce is erratic, lots of dead spots, even when installed over concrete.
Could they help with a cracked warped concrete driveway?

I think these could help me with backyard patio diy
They are nice but too small. I would love to buy something like this but I need at least 30x30.
You can custom build these greens as big or small as you'd like them. Just call us or email us at [email protected] or 727-391-9009
The phone goes to voicemail. Is there a way on your site to see panel prices and we can estimate per square footage? It's easier this way than to be calling someone.
They never answer these comments
