Everyday repairs & maintenance for vehicles, motorcycles, lawn mowers, home appliances, and anything else I find myself working on such as replacing iPad screens, old knives, baseball gloves, bat grips, assembling new furniture, etc. etc. Some DIY skills will save you a lot of money, and it feels good to fix things on your own!

Hey Cousin… Followed your instructions on my 2010 town and country. You made the job, easy - peezy! ‘ Saved me hundreds $$…and I feel rather pleased with myself. Thanks for posting!
Thank you I saved a lot of money
You are my hero!! The dealership had no clue and I thought I was going insane!! THANK YOU!!❤❤
Great video. Much more informative than Lizard skin published
It can be other things, I solved it by lifting the metering lever.
Very helpful. Thanks!!!!
Do the old blades fit in the new models?
@@bwest8372 I’m not sure. Search for a replacement blade for your model online or on eBay maybe.
@@RepairNut I love this tiny little 108OT but I have another 1 a tad bigger I think it's a 58 the old Ulster 1 from the cigarette tin. I been trying to find a way to fix it without having to drill through it but looks like it may be the only option.
hi,biggest mistake because i have done it is the tubes to gas tank have be seated properly,if not the petrol tank can not hold perssure, nothing will work, like me you will look every where else but there good luck
Wow excellent video 👏🏻👏🏻 this video help me a lot, this process worked in my Honda 2009. Thank you so much.
Love it !
I have the br400 also. It starts, but the kill switch won't shut it off! Can it be the coil is bad? Help!
I though big blade went on the right sidec
Good video dude
Wish I had watched this before replacing mine. I drilled out the nub not realizing there was a screw. I had the toughest time and ended up using epoxy. It worths but...
Thanks for video. I am about to do this and more to my 90s RTD2 glove.
Would you be able to answer a question I have, I recently brought a petrol strimmer from SGS engineering and I had to return as the unit was too heavy for me to use. When SGS received the item back after I confirmed I did not use it try to, they are saying as there was fuel in the priming bulb they can not expect my return as they are saying I put fuel in it, and attempted to start it, which I did not. My question is would there still be fuel in this bulb left over from SGS testing this unit as surely they would have tested it. I would really appreciate your thoughts why there is fuel in the priming bulb. Many thanks.
@@lisanash258 your guess is as good as mine. Someone could have tested it during manufacturing, or maybe someone else returned it already before you purchased it.
Thanks for the tips, especially buying a circuit-less fob & switching it out for the worn one. Miss being able to start a vehicle with a plain old metal key. 🔑
Thanks for this video! Leaving the tape on with a tab to pull off at the end and the rubber mallet to get it the rest of the way was so super helpful! Thanks so much for taking the time! Very much appreciated.
Exactamente lo que estaba ocurriendo con mi carro, gracias por el aporte
De Nada!
Just use small wire caps.
Thanks man. I always fight with the pads and new hardware.great video
Battery cable bolts don't reach nuts
Hold the nut up against where the bolt comes through until the threads catch. Or try the bolts and nuts from your old battery which are probably the right size.
Great video, mine is making a grinding noise. I suspect the set screw that secured the fan to the motor shaft came loose. I will check for tightness but I hope I can do it without having to take it fully out.
Thanks I really love this speaker I need a new battery
This was awesome. Thank you!!!
Just fixed mine. The inner wheel had spun free of the blades and was grinding. Since tomorrow is a 40 person cook out and it's going to be hot I needed it fixed now. My only option to keep it from free spinning was to get a small flat head screw driver in between each blade and ping the edges of the center wheel over so they couldn't slip past the blades. Works great till the new one is shipped in. Just wanted to put this out there incase anyone is in a pinch
what glue do u use to glue the disks back in place please?
I didn't glue the discs back. I bought the replacement empty key Fob in the link in the description. It has a new rubber pad with all the discs on it. You can then put your circuit board from your old remote in the new plastic case. However others said they used some silicone to try to glue it, or anything that is flexible.
Thank you from Brazil!
Where do you buy the battery at????
I showed in the video a website where I found my battery. Lots of online places have them pretty cheap.
I was able to use the part numbers you supplied to figure it out. Looks like Amazon sells the Dorman bolts you have. I chatted with Autozone and the guy said the inside diameter of the gasket was 1-13/16 inches and that was the part number you had as well so it appears I know what I need now. Thanks for making the video. Definitely a huge help 👍
Glad it helped you out. Crazy these original bolts failed already. I think the muffler/exhaust wasn't aligned very well from new, and there's probably excessive stress on the bolts......
@RepairNut yes, my car is a 2016 red SR and it sat for a better part of a year one year so the bolts are rotted right out. Going to be fixing it today after work. The gasket is coming from Amazon at some point today. I'll let you know how it went. Everything else seems to be OK. Just need to do exactly what you did and it should be back to normal, whatever normal is
@@RepairNut All fixed up. Back to normal now 👍
I have this exact same problem. Exact same car, exact same spot. Could you tell me what size bolts and what size gasket I need? I'm having trouble finding it online. Any help is appreciated 🙏
Just use the Honda oem filters. Walmart sells them now. There's a huge difference in the internals. Its an extra $3 for a Honda filter. Yes it's an extra 0.046 cents per mile, but just worth it for the correct flow.
Ya OEM would be a great option I’m sure. Didn’t know they were readily available at box stores.
Great video - loved the step by step at reduced speed to get me through the relacing process. Made me feel good as a septuagenarian to do what I had never done before. Cheers
what is the flow after change the filter ??????????????????????
The flow on my fridge went up quite a bit with the new Whirlpool filter. Almost doubled I would guess.
Great video! I was just given a 2003 f-150 XLT super cab with only 41,000 miles on it. It’s in excellent shape. The only thing wrong with it was the cup holder and I’ll be fixing that, thanks to you! 👍
I fixed it today. The trickiest part was removing the cup holder with the two depression tabs, but the whole job was easy. Thanks again! It works great!
This worked perfectly and saved us a bunch of money. The new fobs come with unprogrammed ckt boards, but I just re-used our existing ckt boards. I just wiped them down with a paper tower and used the replacement housings. The new fobs come with blank mechanical keys that can be used to clone the old keys also.
Yes and this can be done on a lot of other vehicle FOBs also. I'm about to do the same thing with an older Honda Civic FOB (buy the blank FOB case and install the guts from the original one).
My bat looks sick
Awesome job. Thanks for providing this content! I have a cylinder 3 misfire and now feel confident I can address it myself.
Did you check the fuse of the on AND off switch??
No but the switch seemed to work fine.
I can see your spark 👍 you are hired 🙋♂️
Thanks for the video, this helped me change mine.
Brother, I love that you explain the math behind this. I started looking at a home plate for a different purpose and was pleased that you could use basic geometry (hello Pythagorean theorem) to figure things out. I think I am gonna make one of these for my daughter, thinking an option would be a place to frame a picture in the middle, i.e. team picture etc.. that we get every season...
It's fun to make things like this, and ya you can resize/customize literally anything using math that most people say you'll never need. Glad this helped you out.
Very helpful.
Thanks. Learned something.
Thanks. That was great instruction.
The main tool you need, is teeny weeny fingers LOL Mine are too big, so I cheated and ended up using a soldering iron!
Thank a lot 😂
You need to make sure the bearings in the spindles aint double sealed. All the factory ones I have seen have double seals. Your just pumping grease inside of the spindle and it has no way to get to the bearings. Pull the bearings out, take a screwdriver, and pop out the inside seals on the bearings. Then you aint just wasting grease.
The “seal” on a sealed bearing is just a cheap plastic covering. If you grease the spindles regularly, the bearings will last much longer since that seal will not dry out and begin to crumble away. There’s also a bushing in there and grease prevents corrosion in that whole interior area of the spindle. That’s why John Deere and others continues to recommend greasing.
Way more complicated than I thought have to keep going since I have the dash off but getting mad uhhgg
You can do it! Have some patience. It will rotate in and out once you find the sweet spot.
Changed out the cinch motor and it worked like a charm…for about a dozen times then started back up. I unplugged the car battery thinking it needed a reset but that did nothing. Anyone have any ideas?
We still use this van as our daily driver and we are in and out of the sliding doors daily. The door is still working fine with no noises for us. If your noise came back maybe the whole latch assembly needs changed out, but not sure.
@@RepairNut thanks for the prompt response. I'll try that out.
