I was so pissed my grandfather wouldn't let me go that night. I was 16 in my junior year at Coolidge Sr. High. All of my friends that did go came to school bragging like hell. But best believe, as soon as that recording came out, I went straight to Waxie Maxie's downtown to buy my cassette. I used to blast it in my room, in the car when I was driving, until it popped. Years later, I bought the CD, and the DVD. I may not have been there physically, but I felt like I was there in spirit LOL 🤣

I was 17 years of age and I was there in my guess jeans and jacket. Man that's when you can go and have really good time without shooting at people. Best time in go go history. Iconic this will never happen again. R I P Chuck.

It's true that Sinatra could be difficult at times, but he was a conscientious forerunner of civil rights and especially hated racism against blacks. His admiration and love for Sammy Davis, Jr. Is an established fact.

Mr. Sinatra loved Mr. Davis. There was no racism between them. They we're true friends. Shame on the haters out there constantly attempting to separate our races.

Frank was heartbroken and our world lost a fantastic entertainer when Sammy went to heaven. The Boy reference by Mr. Sinatra was by no means a racist comment. Mr. Davis was years younger than Frank .
