Thanks for the question. I use the M5 raingear pant and jacket, I didn’t cover my raingear until the 15:30 point in the vid along with the other clothing that typically spends most time it the pack.

Hi Kurt amazing video, I was curious when you weighed your pack did that include your sentinel bino harness/stuff in bino harness weight? Thanks in advance, I just bought a sky talus 6900 and can’t wait to start putting my gear in it and using it. Thanks for sharing your gear with everyone!!!
The weight did not include my bino harness, binos, or rangefinder. It did include any other items I may move to my harness when hiking. The pack weight did include down insulation layers and M5 pants and jacket.

What temps do you go with the De Havilland lite pant? Will be out end of October for rifle elk. Haven’t hunted Montana this time of year before.
I prefer the DH pant whenever there is a chance I will be in snow. If temps are going to be in the 40 plus side, I will usually wear the DH Lite.

Where can you find the cook pot?
We think that the same pot is actually no longer produced. There are similar ones out there. A customer also recently told us about the "Oli Camp" pots.
Check out firemaple petrel ultralight pot with heat exchanger I have been using this 600ml pot for a year now and I am super happy. It weighs 161grams
Any trekking poles?
Yes, I carry an SG ice axe with an extendable leg., which we will be releasing later this fall.

I have found I have to almost empty my pack at night to get to my sleep system when packed on the bottom of the bag. Is this something you have also found? Thanks

They’ve already done fully featured videos on the avail 2200. Search their website or KZread channel. This is promotion video showcasing the pack in their limited black label advertising. Black label offers a host of features for fans of the brand. It’s worth looking into and buying for the benefits alone, plus you get a great day pack. The stone glacier shop in Bozeman has a lot of solid people working there who support veterans, like me, and are active conservationists. They’re probably much better than you to be fair pal.

I started installing the sling on my pack, but got so distracted with how horrible this tutorial video is I couldn’t carry on. I literally have no idea what the hell this guy is trying to show or depict as he dicks around with the straps from 60 feet away from the camera. It would have less infuriating to listen to a guy chew food my ear for 8 mins straight rather then re watching this over and over again in an attempt to redeem my intelligence. I’ve now lost all confidence in my ability to follow directions or complete simple tasks and might completely quite hunting. Thanks
