This stuff is straight poison. Should be regulated. It shouldn’t be marketed as a cure all. It will eventually cripple you and end with potentially life threatening withdrawals.

The Decline is a masterpiece. I've seen it twice live and it is my favourite song of all time. "And so we go, on with our lives. We know the truth, but prefer lies... Etc. etc." makes me cry pretty much every god damn time.

The CIA invests time in boosting the confidence and egos of its agents to ensure they can execute tasks effectively. There is a strong correlation between childhood trauma and high performance. High achievers are driven to achieve external success as a means of winning love, due to childhood experiences that taught them external achievement is the way to gain love. Some individuals become frustrated with the pursuit of external achievement without receiving the desired attention and may resist their ambitious desires as a form of rebellion. The CIA acknowledges that its agents have experienced childhood rejection and mommy and daddy issues, and these experiences contribute to their greatness as agents. The speaker expresses gratitude for the experiences that have led them to their current position, acknowledging that while their upbringing may not have been comfortable, it has shaped them into who they are today.

This guy is operating straight from the purdue pharma playbook. He is also a "recovering" alcoholic. While he is right in his lame ass response of "anything that makes you feel good can be habit forming" like sex, WATER (lol), sugar. He then shifts the focus to low key blaming the consumer... There is a major difference between psychological addiction and PHYSICAL addiction, of which this product is highly physically addictive. Their marketing targets people looking for an alcohol alternative (problem drinkers, alcoholics, addicts maybe?) While completely trying to downplay and bury that the active ingredient is Kratom. And not just your regular vape-shop kratom, some modified version of kratom engineered to be even more addictive than your avg kratom. To be clear, I think this stuff should be legal and people should have the right to buy it. And we are all responsible for our own decisions. However the general public (DOCTORS even) knows very little about kratom, and that your body cannot tell the difference btw it and heroin. So if more people knew the risk in getting addicted to this product and what it actually entails to get off of it - 3-14+ days of intense physical and psychological withdrawls - maybe they would be way more cautious and likely to use it responsibly or not at all. This guy could give a fuck about that. I have been addicted to sugar, sex, alcohol etc and have kicked them all and managed them all well with minimal negative consequences. I got hooked on this product and it was an absolute NIGHTMARE to get off. I've made it 43 years without ever experiencing addiction like this and now I have a whole new level of empathy and heartbreak for those suffering from this product, and Oxi and benzos, heroin etc. That's the upside lol The product works as it says it does until it does the complete opposite. You FEEL FREE until you FEEL FUCKED. Check out the sub reddit - quitting feel free - to hear more horror stories that this guy is getting rich off of.
