This is the KZread channel for Knole, the National Trust property in Sevenoaks, Kent.
Knole is home to a world-class collection of royal furniture and paintings and is surrounded by 1,000 acres of medieval parkland with its wild deer herd. The property is in the middle of a huge conservation project, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, which will maintain the vast buildings, conserve the precious collection and open up more spaces to visitors.

How very lovely.❤
This looks beautifully curated. I hope I can get down from Scotland to see this!
Sickening! Killing helpless cute deer, only gross nobility would think of such things!
It's fascinating to see an historic house such as Knole but see the behind the state rooms etc that are always on show. I find that the inner rooms etc really fascinating and a stark contrast to the public rooms. It shows the complexieties and how the mansion was built and its structure. I prefer looking at the inner structure of Knole than the pomp and finery of the main rooms!😂
I love that you are offering this. I hope people who can benefit will learn about these sessions.
I love this piece of music. It fits perfet for the house.
Интересно, а как замки освещались, если внутри дерево в основном?
Envy is the sport of idleness
This is fantastically done! Thank you. Interesting facts made just a bit more entertaining tastfully.
I would like to ask, did you open vacancy for this conservation ? Or training ? Fyi i am dealing with all silver from my king, i want to learn more about silver conservation
Thank you for sharing, what a grand and beautiful home , steeped in incredible history. I felt like i was actually there, taking in the whole experience.
Truly magnificent ! ❤
Such a treasure. Thank you everyone keeping it so beautiful.❤
A bit dark for my taste but very interesting with history galore. Kudos to the film-maker, beautifully done!
How beautifully filmed and presented , and of an incredible place. Very many thanks, that was fantastic!
Sounds like a sad character.Did'nt he ever marry?
Thanku for a fine video of Knole’s showrooms. I’ve travelled 12000 plus miles more than once & now - finally - I’ve seen inside! Beautiful! 😊
It is a thrill and privilege to observe these artisans restore ancient pieces of beauty to what was enjoyed by those who have gone before us.
Knole Manor and park is stunning. It deserves many visits to absorb its beauty and place in history.
Just returned from England with a visit to Knole. There was so much to see and explore, one visit is not enough. ❤
Thank you so much! (music also beautiful) Love from Holland 🌷
Stunning film ❤

Breathtakingly beautiful ❤
I'm always interested in anything to do with Vita Sackville-West and her lover Violet Trefusis. Such an incredibly sad story.
Fantastic - well done #nationaltrustuk
Breathtakingly beautiful and much appreciated ❤
Thank you.
We are sorry but the excerpt from the "Moonlight" Sonata by Beethoven was not appropriate for this video. Beethoven himself didn't titled it "Moonlight" but "Sonata No. 14 in C# minor." We can understand using the somber aesthetic of the piece to match the dark sentiment of the visual however, it failed to parallel or enhanced it. Will be better to find a British piece from that 1920s era, instead of a Germanic one.
Wow What I see daily is council estates smack heads shops that have closed for a long time so have gathered dust in the windows and if I'm lucky I get to see some countryside but there's so much beauty in the world usually where mankind has not yet invaded to create a society Imagine looking at this worlds beauty everyday of your life you would mentally be at peace Smelling the fresh air that's unpolluted J C If I said I was happy with my life I would be lieing All I want is to live in peace and be free to be happy I'm crying They risk going to war and have bombs destroy the natural beauty in this world for the ego's of a few at the top in positions of power they are fucking insane I'm going to remove these fucking parasites from power and replace them with peacekeepers
What a stunning piece of filming. A captivating glimpse into a sumptuous World of artistry and history. Thanks you for sharing this beautiful home.
The tourists can have the show rooms. I'd want to spend a month in the unused attic and cellar rooms studying and repairing them. Walls do talk and I love listening to them.
My goodness I enjoyed this so very much indeed thank you so much ❤
Breathtakingly beautiful ❤
Thomas Sackville is my 15th great grand father, love this video
Superb slide show! What gorgeous views. I had to stop it frequently to enjoy a longer look at many of the photos - those 3 elaborate brick chimneys (?), the gargoyle on a bannister, the lovely deer and the sad little tree with protective wiring around it, the majestic portrait galleries - just so much to look at! How did I not see this before?
I love this video.
One of the best tours I've ever seen! It was fascinating
No mention of The Beatles!
No mention of Henry Smith who owned it .....
Imagine ''House day'' in that massive abode?? Pass
Jangan di bikin jelek parah raja 👑 dan turunan nya kita harus tau sopan santun
Love these films thank you so much and happy Christmas
youre narrative is not a historic but borne anti-religious and political activiism. Much English media is more propaganda than truth. Shame.
I loved being able to see these areas! Still beautiful, and that ceiling!
The sheer volume of fantastic pieces and architectural ornament is impressive, but it's important to remember they were accumulated over centuries. So many beautiful old houses (and their collections) have been damaged or destroyed by fire; we are fortunate to be able to see them still. In the days before photography, only the wealthy could afford portraits. They are an amazing record of those who lived before us. Thank you for the excellent tour.
Simply marvellous thank you so much
1:15 The deer started running at the perfect time.
Amazing house, beautiful olde England. Imagine the history of the place! The maids and workers that passed through the place...
