Good video . Helps me ,as I'm upgrading mine soon
Did you change the hose , i might need to change my hose caise im still leaking between my transmission and engine block
Hey my pin broke and I can’t get it out what do I do
It broke inside the caliper bracket? If it broke inside and it's accessible, heat it up with a torch. Use pliers to twist and pull while you heat it up and spray lubricant on it. If nothing works need a whole caliper and bracket
Thank you for the knowledge
Just became an independent woman- and you helped me change my own lightbulb! Thank you!
Awesome I'm glad I could be of some help
What did you end up doing? I'm in the same situation. (I'm sure alot of us are.)
I ended buying a couple of wrenches to complete some sets. Sold some, traded some. Modified some lol.
@@DirtydogMech Yeah, I guess there is no perfect answer. I sold all of my non-US wrenches and sockets as a bundle for cheap. The remaining items are great quality, but are not a compete set. Thanks!
@BIsForBudget yeah as a low key tool hoarder I'd rather keep them than throw them out. I wanted to try and make some sculptures but I've never had real time and do not own a welder
I did and took it to my vehicle and was able to remove a lug not and tighten it back so the mall battery is 👍
Ahhh yes. Not the best batteries. Glad you checked it before
Yup i got mine from pepboys, barely used but i just grabbed it out of the shed, charging it up and plan to put it in my vehicles trunk
Make you check to see if that battery holds a charge. Mine died
Hello, is it bad if I didnt put grease on the Little métal part avec the calipers ? Thanks
It isn't bad. But it is recommended to keep consistency in brake feel and performance
Gonna try this on my 2008 Focus, bought the heavy polishers before and couldn’t manage it so this may be the next best thing for a beginner.
Dude, your camera angle sucks.
where do you get the code??
Bless!
I did that and it came back on as error e 😢
What part of NY are you located in?
Long Island
@@DirtydogMech If you aren’t too far out from Brooklyn and do work on the side I might need your assistance for a 04 Civic to change a bad wheel bearing.
I got the code straight from Honda and it doesn’t work. Disconnected everything, tried the code again, nothing. All the time I’ve wasted I could’ve just installed an aftermarket one by now.
What if you use this method but you have air in the lines, will I have to pump the brake pedal after I empty the oil or the opposite, thanks
What if you use this method but you have air in the lines, will I have to pump the brake pedal after I empty the oil or the opposite, thanks
It difficult to know if you have air in the lines for sure or not unless you did some recent brake work. But if you suspect you have in the a line or caliper, you can stick a long pry bar, chisel, screw driver between the brake pedal and the driver seat to depress the brake pedal. Then go to the 1st brake bleeder screw, cracked open, then quickly close once the fluid slows down and repeat. You couldn't also gravity bleed which means filling up the reservoir with fluid then crack all the bleeder screw and let some fluid dribble out as long as you do not step on the brake pedal
Emptying brake fluid out the reservoir will not take air out of the brake lines
Great job. But I got really dizzy from the video jerking around. Moving too fast.
I know i apologize. I film it on a old cellphone camera that didn't have image stabilization
Thank you
Omg i was just there with a volcano view on the 2nd fl in Americana however next time im asking for a higher floor lol 😂😂😂❤ this view is insane ❤and at night beautiful
Yes it definitely is worth it. The night views is relaxing hearing the water. And then in the morning opening up yours curtain to that view. Almost feels like your really on a tropical island
That didn’t work for me but what did work was touching the ! Button but at least you got me to the area I needed to be in thank you ❤
hey just curious is this the same if it just says errr nothing else all mine does is power on none of the buttons work
No numbers? Try disconnecting and reconnecting your battery. Then press your code
Very helpful till dis day
Worked! Thanks man
Well i see i need a short extention.
Sabes cómo poner la Pilot 2011 en modo aprendizaje para los tpms?
Perdon pero no se. Depronto va nesesita una computadara
Ok , gracias, si tengo el scaner solo que no logra sincronizar los tpms. Me dice cancelado.
The car should be level this car looks a lot higher in the front
Thank you! Super helpful ❤
Im glad it helped
Got it but it’s comical how it when the radio does turn on it straight to a Japanese station , did it to me too
I know right. I actually think its Korean or Chinese
Hey bro still helping people to this day on my way to go repair this for a client much appreciated I hope your doing good man !
Whattttt im glad this helped. Im even more more happy that these classic civic are still on the road. These will always be my favorite
@@DirtydogMech man tell me about it the one I’m working on is a 97 !!! I have a 2019 civic man it feels so fragile compared to how they were built before 😂
@@Yawnz_Vlogz_ Yeah back when things were simple . Less computers and less things to potentially to break
What is 1 6th??????
Must be my Lisp 😂
All is great, but if the trunk doesn't open when you use the key, then what?
can I ask why didn't you take the tires off to do the job
I was short on time. Yes maybe i should have
Take the wheel off for better access
iknow this video its 7 years old but thanks for the help what a 2.99 part of a diffrent it made
Awesome im glad it helped you out
You can bleed your breaks by yourself with just a water bottle, clear rubber hosing that will fit over the bleeder screw, and some break fluid
Thanks mate ❤
Great video!
Thanks
I gotta do the diff fluid and check the nuts as well
0:55 there is a button behind this up & down pad that you need to hold down on the Pilot Touring edition
When you mention you say you’re gonna hold it down you don’t tell me what you’re holding down?
I heard about a guy in Florida who died because he didn’t know about the lever I the floor
Yes I heard about that as well. I've been asked many time what happens if the power goes out
I heard that you can take out the taillight and run power thru the pigtail on the positive side from another battery to make the fob open the door.
Great video, you really made it easy.
I do this method every 6 months +\- in between 2 year gravity bleeds. Try to keep it as clean and fresh as possible.
Exactly 💯

???????
My man your video was awesome quick to the point. Got the serial number called up the Honda dealership and he gave me my code for free 👍
What are you using for microphones
Honestly, it's just my phone. I know im being hypocritical, but that's why Im rarely more than arms length away from my phone because I know it will get distorted and difficult to hear 😅. I believe your content is way better than mine. That is why I believe you'd benefit way more than me
@DirtydogMech if I use my phones mic I feel like I have to up the volume in editing. The mics I use give me better voice sound but background noise is usually weird or non existent
@adventureswithedna oh ok I understand. Yeah if I do a car repair video I try and stay as close as I can to my phone. 1. To not sound far away and 2 quality stays ok. I have airplanes and a busy road of traffic where I film. Eventually I'd like to do get s real mic
@@DirtydogMech we just finished filming our next adventure. Chance forgot to turn on his microphone 😆🤦♂️
@adventureswithedna oh jeez lmao 🤣 😂. Hey at least his willing to learn a dying trade of the automotive maintenance and repair
- Hold the button (continue to hold) - Insert car key - Turn car on - Release button when light stops blinking
Perfecto
