The batch size we made for the video was 268oz. When you freeze the liquid it expands and also some air is incorporated into the mix, let’s say 15% more volume. So you will get out about 308oz. Divide that by serving size of say 10oz and it will yield 30+ drinks.

Quick question. We have a 6235c model and when we put it in night mode, the manual says to flip the air tubes. When we do that the lids do not close and cover the hoppers. What do we need to do to make sure the product is covered?

It’s normal for foam or froth to form in the hopper. It can be caused from air coming out of the air tubes or inlet hole and bubbling through the product, or from the hopper agitator if you are using one. You should skim foam from the top throughout the day and keep the hoppers clean as a best practice.

Hi! We do not recommend adjusting temp settings unless you find that your product is out of range in the hopper. You may also need to calibrate the temperatures if they are not showing correctly. You can find calibration instructions on our knowledgebase, use the search function in top right corner. For viscosity, it depends on your model and what product you are using. For 208-240v machines we typically advise to start around 2.50 for the 6210-C we suggest to start around 4.50 If you need assistance, feel free to reach out to [email protected] Thanks

Hi! We used: -33 oz dark rum -33 oz creme de cacao -33 oz coffee liqueur -192 coconut milk -chocolate syrup -whipped cream -cherries For any batch recipes for frozen drink machines you want to target brix between 12-18. You can purchase a brix refractometer easily online for under $20.

In standby mode, the product in both the cylinder and hopper will be kept at a food-safe temperature, but not frozen. This is sometimes referred to as night-mode as it is used when the store is not in operation.

Hello! On Spaceman machines, the hopper agitator will only spin when the hopper is actively cooling (compressor is on). You may notice this happens after a delay, depending on the temperature and set temperate of the hopper.

Hi Lej, Great question. It is not necessary, but will help fill the cylinder with sanitizer more quickly. It is required when you add product though, before pressing freeze! It should also have been removed prior to adding sanitizer, during the disassembly and clean process. Thanks!
