Yes both need to submit to each other, but we don't just stop if/when our husbands aren't acting perfectly to our liking. There is no need to water down the fact that God wants us to submit to our husbands. Just like Christ gives us grace and mercy, we should be doing the same for our husbands.

I can go to church and not involve myself with anyone which means if I do get up and go to Church it’s in vain , and do don’t plan on being vulnerable with anyone…so that they can use it against me later nahh why should I expose my weaknesses…I’ve dealt with enough I’m far better of alone

Apart from the ten Commandments Christians cannot define what sin actually is, There is no list of sins in the bible yet there seems to be thousands of them, including thought sins. In fact sins are what your Preacher, Pastor or Priest tell you they are and unless they have a reference to these biblical misdemeanors they are just guessing and portraying those guesses as facts. All religions use the concept of sin as a means of blackmailing and controlling their followers, yet apart from Federal and State legislated crimes and misdemeanors there are no other guidelines that we have to observe, sin does not exist. If we were to base our laws on what is written in the bible and conveyed as "sin" by so called holy men we would end up like Saudi Arabia and Iran with a population cowed and controlled to a point where any debate or dissension could be inferred as blasphemy and attract prison sentences and even the death penalty, this is what the church wants, complete power over the whole population and when religion imposes itself on Politics that is their aim. Fortunately our founding fathers recognized the danger religion posed and legislated laws that defined the separation of the church and the State, unfortunately religion does not recognize that separation and is continually attempting to influence politicians with the implied threat of directing votes away from candidates at voting time unless they toe the line. Oh for the good old days when politicians had the courage to declare themselves Atheist or Agnostic and weren't afraid of the holy rollers.

I had a friend who got into contemplative prayer, etc. and from there turned completely away from the Lord into new age and very ungodly practices. Her daughter who was a spiritual giant in the Lord, now has multiple tatoos, a baby out of wedlock, dad out of the picture and she gives spiritual 'readings'. These practices sound so good and helpful, but they can be a gateway to the demonic. How about calming your spirit by reading the Psalms or other scripture? Just focus back to God and his will. Turn your anxiety into trust when you read how great and mighty and caring God is.

If someone I know repents of their sins of theft and fraud will Jesus forgive them and they can move forward or do they have to tell the authorities too? She is terrified of going to jail and getting beat up raped and stabbed plus she takes medications for mental illness and without these pills she gets very aggressive and mentally unstable and she is worried that there is no medications in jail and she has toenail fungus which makes her toenails thick and hard to cut and she is worried that there is no one in jail to cut them like the nail salon she goes to and they will just keep getting thicker and longer Thank you for All your Help and Time God Bless you

@@q50tae According to God's Word 1 Timothy 2:12 "But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence." Women can receive God's Wisdom from God's Word, and from Godly men teaching and a woman can teach other women, but not over men

  • @JonathanSimons

@@truthreigns7 Come on now - you can't reference Paul in 1 Timothy while ignoring that Paul allowing women to prophesy in 1 Corinthians. Scripture interprets Scripture, and Paul is not inconsistent. So what is he talking about in 1 Timothy 2? The flow of the sentence in Greek implies that "teach" and "exercise authority" seem to be one action not two separate ones. And the Greek word used for authority is an uncommon one - "authentein" - which means "authority given to one self." Or - "authority no one has given to them." In the Ephesian Church Timothy is Pastoring - there was a specific issue of women taking a role they were never given. NOT a universal truth that women can never speak or teach in a church. Paul is addressing a specific issue - that Timothy was called to Pastor that church, and this is consistent in the theme of 1 Timothy, as Paul spends so much time encouraging, uplifting, and empowering this young Pastor.

@truthreigns7 You've got Pricilla and Aquilla teaching Apollos in Acts 18, Romans 16:1-16 there's like 10 women mentioned, some of which hold a public role in the local church teaching - Paul calling them coworkers, Nympha in Colossians 4, and of course the well known Lydia in Acts. Scripture is ripe with women teaching, preaching, pastoring, encouraging, supporting, serving... Let's allow Scripture to interpret Scripture instead of cherry picking verses to make it say what we want it to say.

Meditation, yoga (etc) is not of God, you should know better than to tap into another spiritual realm, your inviting demons period. Like Jesus says "who has bewitched you"? Your teaching witchcraft which is rebellion to God. Repent and touch no unclean thing.

This ‘short’ focuses on what seems to be logical. We should not simply pursue something in the Lord because it makes logical sense. I understand what this guy is saying … but … if we are walking with Jesus we are not seeking or doing things based on what our mind tells us making sense. Follow the Holy Spirit as He only knows where the Lord wants to take you!! TRUST and move forward!!!

Amen, just wrote a comment myself. Too many Christians mix new age, they are following another gospel, most don't want the truth, they want to partake in different things, perverting the gospel. God did say he will send a strong delusion in these last days, this looks like the falling away.. I pray they see your rebuke and questions things and repent while they still can.
