  Xplane 12 for me. It's like Coke and Pepsi, you can have both if you want but ultimately you prefer one over the other. Coke is for the masses ( FS2024) Pepsi is for the sophisticate ( xplane 12).

Relax and enjoy the game. Make mistakes and smile. Image someone has to experience all this IRL. This is only a game. Love your content, but sometimes all that stress makes it less enjoyable. Life is beautiful. So is this this game. You are doing just great. :)

  I fly in real life and i have both of them. And xplane doesn't fell as a real plane... But that's the same thing in msfs. So take msfs

  One big difference nobody talks about (well 3 actually). Xplane 12 loads on my PC in 8 seconds. MSFS loads with (cut-down) addons in 8 minutes. If I load all my addons, it's over 20 minutes. Sometimes, after waiting for that long load, MSFS will crash even just on the World map. Xplane seems more stable. I have Xplane 11 loaded on my second (Linux) PC in another room. It also will work on my Mac too. Littlenavmap works on all 3 platforms, but MSFS of course only works on Windows. I get better more consistent frame-rate on Xplane.

  Traffic is a disaster in the game. Cars brake just like that and pedestrians jump in front of your car. The developer still has a lot to do :)

  I have worked as an airline pilot since 98. I use only Xplane 11 in VR with the Toliss A320Neo and A321.Which is what i fly nowadays. I have trIed MSFS with the Fenix 320. The Xplane flight model is way better than MSFS, like 10x. Simulating the inertias of a medium jet is hard but Xplane tries nicely, MSFS is a toy in comparison. If you want eye candy go with MSFS.I understand that the "real" scenery is hard to argue with.

  It's nice how accurate the game is. It would be nicer if the cities were fully represented so that you can drive through your hometown. And I know that's not what the game was programmed for :D

  Absolutely. But full scale cities don't fit in a down-scaled world. Imo it's a lot better with American Truck Simulator, though I cannot really say because my time in US cities thus far was very limited 😂

  The truck shaking is actually caused by a car mod. It's best not to change the settings but to remove the car mod(s) responsible...

  hello again you know what i was thinking on gps there is an option about routing ou can avoid tolls but it might cost a bit more depending on the load you have and the roads or maybe you can do lot of shorter ones and lighter ? i dont know im just makiing suggestions i just started to play like this new save i try to do it without loan i mean i only make money right now but until i manage to buy a truck it will be a nightmare but with these interest and economy i might only take a small one for a trailer to get more money per km maybe you can try flatbed with container pins 3 axle it has some heavy loads but it has huge variety and its not as expensive as frigo

  my suggestion is go for more $per km drive like you do very economically pay attention to tyres etc and also tonnage of cargo also daf from what i remember is the best in terms of economy and highest range in normal configuration with double tanks so just go find cheap diesel in eastern europe or balkans and then make it rain avoid countries with tolls as for ferries it depends you have to check ferry price and km and see if it benefits more :D ( also ownable trailer pays more so its worth it more

  Thanks. Yeah DAF seems to be really great with fuel consumption and range (actually get one later in the series). The tolls are indeed a problem because most are still vanilla. So yeah absolutely right avoiding these is best. Worst are bridges from Denkmark to Sweden. But there may be a workaround...

  I played the same way and had over 400 hrs. Too bad my computer can no longer run ETS2 decently 😔 I like this kind of gameplay. Realistic. That's the real purpose of a sim. 😊

  Hi I am seeking help on setting switches and buttons in the Fenix A320 using the Stecks Throttle I have mapped a few but I'm completely stuck on how to start the engines using this throttle's buttons or switches there must be a way of doing it Please help needed

  Did you use the Thrustmaster or another throttle previously? Check if any key or button is still assigned to engine start. If so remove.

  I used a Thrustmaster in the past and all the key bindings have been removed I can get the engine switches to move but the won’t stay in the on position same with the ignition start/Crank switch it moves to start but won’t return to off very frustrating must be a work around can you try to map those buttons to your VKB Stecs throttle please

  It says it is only compatible with 1.48. Otherwise it sounds really good. I hope they adept it to 1.50. Gonna start fresh with that one then. Edit: Works just fine with 1.49. Already started recording. Loving it so far. 😍 Thanks so much.

  We want MSFS to really do better when it comes to allowing multi monitor support for SIMBUILDERS....Currently XP12 wins on that front hands down.

  Played XP and MSFS, both in 500+ hours. I can say the big reason why I still play XP is the flight model and control feels much better and direct. MSFS has a weird smoothing like feeling and takes away a bit of the fun. The camera system and replay system in XP is much intuitive and better, no argument needed.

  It's not the stick as that performs the same every time. All the aircraft perform differently as in real life that's the whole skill of flying.

  Sorry to disappoint you but this is not actually a GLS approach you did. GLS would have LOC and G/S in the FMA and on the NAV page would require the GBAS code to be entered. This aircraft cannot do this

  We went for the pretty pictures. Now, ive deleted the pile of garbage msfs and play xplane 12 again. If you want a realistic sim, xplane12 is better. If you want a garbage sim with nice scenery and a load of bugs, msfs.

  One of your blindspots is that only private users exist. XP and P3D also have large commercial contracts. That's a piece of the pie that's not represented. XP and P3D can be stand alone units not needing external inputs and can be used in mass training applications...or certified by the FAA. DCS also falls into this category.

  Love xp11 and i still use it!!.i have xp12 and msfs too, but there's something about xp11 that keeps dragging me in. It's so smooth on my pc and no crashes at all, and there are much more payware stuff for it. Long live xp11!!
